Possibly a huge problem!

Well i guess its been probably a few months ago now that i came back, but i took a little break from league, about 6 months or so i guess. My password had been changed when i tried to log on, which i know for certain no one knew my password, nor had i changed it recently. Luckily i was able to recover it and have had no problems since.

Then something very strange happened. I saw a good friend of mine was online so i sent him an invite, he didnt accept after a few minutes so i shot him a text ( i know him personally ) asked if he was LoLing and said we should get down n what not. Then he responds "man i havent played that game in months". So i make sure he didnt give his account way or anything and tell him whats going on. Then i proceed to message the guy, asking who it is, not expecting a response.

He responds though! Saying "a friend of mine bought this account and gave it to me, because he got my other account banned". which i thought was weird but whatever, i think maybe brian gave it away and forgot, and this guy is just a mutual friend. So i ask if he lives in the same state as me and his very odd response was "I live in the US, but that is all i am authorized to day"

My buddy is certain that he didnt give his account away, but he no longer has a working PC and doesnt really care enough to try to recover his account on his cell. I just feel it should be taken away from the thieves.

Having my password changed a couple months prior leads me to believe that these people are possibly hacking numorous inactive accounts, and selling them in hopes of the true owners never coming back. Just figured id get the word out, in case this is some what of an epidemic lol.
