Banned for scripting?

This might be a bit of a long story but here we go. I don't play much league very much now a days but I play it every so often with friends and one day one of my friends on discord asked me if I was ranked grinding with Cassiopeia to which I replied no since I already got gold 1 and had no interest in playing any further ranked. I thought he was making a joke until I logged on and actually noticed I was in a game and someone was playing (for further information I've never gave out my account information). I immediately filed a ticket and changed my password thinking that this had solved the problem. A few days later when I was playing a few normal games with my friends after one of the games I had been notified that I had been banned for scripting. I sent in another ticket asking if this was due to the short compromised period for my account but they said they couldn't find any signs unauthorized access to my account and will continue to ban me. Is there anything I can do to fight this or attempt to recover my account? I've been playing since about season 2 on this account and I've never once cheated so I'm not sure what to do to combat this or what to do next.

You could try and ask to be redirected to another Rioter. With that said, when they do punish for scripting its a timely process. Its usually not just a one and done type of deal. If you rarely play (been playing) league and you only just found out about this compromise, then for all you know they could have had access to your account for some time. Its best to try and go back and see if there are any games you don't recognize, and make sure you let them (Riot Support) know about everything that doesn't make sense with your account.

That's probably why they dismissed your case since you told them of only that one time when it could have been longer that your account was compromised/hacked, thus leading them to believe that you regularly do this type of stuff!
