Riot's bad explanation about Honor from a Level 1 perspective. (In MY opinion.)

I will start this off by saying that this is MY opinion and I will get downvoted for this 100 % but I accept that fact.

So I got chat restricted about 2 and half weeks ago and I am sitting at Level 1 0 checkpoint's right now. I had many questions about the system considering this was my first offense in the many year's of me playing the game. I contacted many support agent's about it and sadly most of them said ENTIRELY different things and sadly the community also does. Some agent's tell me the game count matters, some other tell me only time matters and not the game count and ect.

I also debunked the "valid report" thingy since support ALSO said that as long as you don't get a punishment your honor remains untouched and not slowed down. Im sure there are many people that are currently chat restricted and locked by me seeing all the threads popping up at the end of the season.

I truly stand behind my punishment and probably everyone else's. It does suck that it's the end of the season and people cant get the victorious skin but we deserved the punishment.

Truly tho i think Riot needs to either make some stuff about the system more public or just tell agent's to tell us nothing. Because by not doing that it just confuses and makes people more angry about it. What is your take on the situation ? I will be happy to hear it.

Feel free to down vote this just because Im Honor 1 and you think Im toxic. :D [slayer-jinx-wink]

Seems like you're confused about what will impede your honor progress. If you are validly reported, your progress will slow or stop; if you have enough valid reports, you get punished, and your honor gets taken down to Honor 1 or Honor 2.

So, you progress by playing neutral or positive games. As in, if your behavior is good, or if you don't even chat, your honor will progress. Time alone is not going to advance your honor.

Some agent's tell me the game count matters, some other tell me only time matters and not the game count and ect.

It's both. It's games OVER time. Your goal is to consistently play games with no valid reports or it will slow your honor progress. There's no specific number of games, everyone's mileage will vary.

Play your best, use chat for positive communication only, and you'll gain checkpoints at the rate anyone gains checkpoints. For me it was one every 3-4 weeks (Honor 5 now) but again, your mileage will vary.

Show me where a Rioter told you specifically that ONLY time matters when it comes to honor progression. I just have a feeling youre misinterpreting something, no offense. That would be stupid. It would mean you could play 0 games and gain honor. Like all my smurf accounts would be honor 4 or 5 just never playing a single game for the season.
