I recently have gotten chat restricted for "toxicity", is flaming yourself not allowed? or is cursing towards nobody still considered toxic, Or is saying you're going to int and continuing to play the game not allowed? I get upset and say im going to int and continue to play and in all examples that's the only thing i could view as toxic. In the first example our Ziggs constantly tells me to kill myself and i didn't get a notification that hes gotten any penalties, it feels unfair to me.

Cursing is allowed, period.

Flaming yourself, threatening to int, and other things like that are not. Those are all negative, toxic things to do in game.

You do not always get notified when other players are punished. That is to prevent exactly the same toxic attitude you are displaying where you feel you "need" to know if they're punished or not.

Context is VERY RARELY considered for chat offenses. All the cases I've personally seen required the person to ask for a manual review of their case.

Riots policy is "ANY negativity" is punishable. Riot has sole discretion of what is considered "negative".

If you feel like you were unjustly punished, submit a ticket to Riot support. They can either remove your punishment or specify why you were punished.

It took me along time to overcome my toxic behavior the system does work and no its not perfect. All it took was going into 1 game with the correct mindset and eventually I learned to have a better attitude. It is you and not your teams. I have been falsely reported but if you are truly toxic you will eventually get caught. You will be surprised how big of an impact 1 person can have. Its not to late to change I like to think I am now making the community less toxic 1 game at a time.

As the system is automated, I would avoid using any toxicity, even towards yourself, as it may get incorrectly flagged. Chat is supposed to be used for only essential team comms anyway.
