No season rewards when im lower than honor 2?

I just have a quick question, like in the title a friend told me i wouldnt get my Season rewards from s8 if i was below Honor Level 2. Im a friendly Player usually, I just took the game a bit to serious and flamed a bit so i got a 10 game Chat restriction and Honor lvl 0 ofc. Im very worried about not getting my rewards, since i spent a whole year grinding to Gold. I hope someone can help.

Edit: thanks a lot guys i didnt expect so many answers after only a few Hours, im already trying to be a more positive Player i got 10 honors in my recent 3 games :D

Your friend is correct.

All you need to do right now is to be positive in chat to get h2. You still have time.

10 games and honor level 0? Are you sure about that and that you don't mean the honor lock? A 10 game puts it down to 1, since odds are it's the first punishment you got.

I mean, that's 4 less checkpoints to reach, which is quite a big difference.

What you need to do is:

Start playing a lot of games. As I understand, it's based more on games than time on a clock.
In these games, you need to be relentlessly positive. If you're typing anything as a complaint, hit escape instead and don't hit enter. If you're posting to WTF, complain, or anything other than encourage or strategize, don't fucking post.
You need to honor after every game - if everyone honors, everyone gets a bit more of a bonus.
Carrying hard will attract lots of honor your way - even more than being nice.
Don't play with friends - or if you do, make sure you don't honor each other. Friend honor counts for much less than honor from a stranger.
