Fix Your Report and Suspension System Already

I am going to rant here, like i have never done before, so be prepared i guess, idk

I decide to play supp, claim it first, don't instalock, some solo-mid maining idiot instalocks irelia and claims adc just because a yi and an ahri claimed mid and top first. I switch over to adc instead because i don't want to be supporting an irelia as pyke. Game starts, I don't say anything and irelia says that he'll be getting all the cs, i warn him not to because i am the adc. Meanwhile when he's waiting for blue to spawn to help the jglr, they get invaded and irelia gives the first blood, again, i don't say anything. Fast-forward 5 mins, we're losing the lane HARD, Irelia doesn't let me farm, Thresh and Ashe are poking us non-stop and we basically already lost the lane, when we die under tower with their mid laner's help, our toplaner Yi starts flaming us, I obviously defend myself by saying we had lost the lane already minutes ago and we got no help and that irelia doesn't let me farm anyway, this conversation escalates a few mins later yadda yadda, yi keeps flaming me when i said nothing to him, irelia keeps griefing and feeding and i just get all the blame. He even said stuff like ''I know we lost but I'm not going to surrender at 15 or 20 just to keep you in the game longer, you can disc. or keep playing''

I got fed up and started talking to yi as he did to me, he still didn't shut up so i muted him a few mins later, I report Yi for Unsportsman Conduct and Irelia for Griefing after the game, then I leave but Yi's still trash talking in the post-game chat, I don't care.

I queue up for another game, claim adc, someone else tries to steal adc, I give up and switch over to jungle instead, right before the game starts, I get a notif saying my account got suspended, I relog-in and see that i got a 14 day ban

This is beyond unfair and ridiculous, so if I just want someone to get banned, I can start flaming them when they've not talked to me at all? If I can just trigger them it's possible for me to do that for no reason? Amazing.

First, sounds like you are playing Blinds. This means there are not assigned roles so no one can "steal" a position or role.

Second, Pyke Supporting an Irellia probably wouldn't even me that bad. All in at 6 could be deadly.

Third, you flamed a flamer back with at least the same amount. As you say "I got fed up and started talking to yi as he did to me," you should have muted him when it started.

Yi may face his own punishment, but you are not guaranteed a feedback report or anything. After your 14 day ban, your next offense will be a perm ban.

How is the report system at fault here? You admitted to "talking to yi as he did to [you]". You got banned for your toxicity. What is there to fix?

What needs fixing is your loaded poll....

While it's unfortunate that you got flamed, honestly it sounds like most of these issues you brought upon yourself. You could have stayed as the support but you chose not to simply because you didn't want to support Irelia as Pyke. While I get that a duo melee lane isn't ideal you still might've had success with it had you not been so quick to brush it off simply because it wasn't ideal for you. Not the IFS's fault but your pride's fault.

The Yi flaming you and trolling is obviously his fault, but you're also at fault for flaming him back when you could've just muted him once he started acting up in the chat instead. I know you said you eventually did mute him but why wait so long to do so? Not the IFS's fault but a behavioral fault of you both.

As for the ban itself it sounds like the previous game was the straw that broke the camel's back, and I assume you had a continued trend of misbehavior despite 2 prior chat restriction punishments.

So yeah, overall none of this is the fault of the IFS but with your attitude and behavior instead, so rather than look for others to blame try looking at yourself and what you did that led you to this place instead.
