Hello fellow summoner's,

I got such bad experience with Verbal Abuse/Toxicity among other players and after many games I kept noticing that toxic player's don't get banned, at least most of them. My first time realising that there is out of game report was hope of a way to punish such players but even after trying to do so I got a reply that the support will look into it. And thats it? Really? I have experienced being banned and i got a message that the reason why is that I typed in chat kys. So why players that use even more offensive words slip threw. I have a picture of a my chat take a look and what do you think?

While I do believe the report system is flawed as anything ever, you can't say anything anyone else said has been worse than telling someone to kill themselves.

i agree i have been trying to get my account from getting unbanned all day well 2 hours but the point is that saying kys doesn't mean all ways kill your self it is just something to hurt the opponent i had a lot of players saying a lot of bad things about my mother and none of themGame 1 Ha1kuu: IM BACK BABY(bad connection got fixed Ha1kuu: sry i was afk(apoligies for being afk) Ha1kuu: kys ezreal kys(ezreal had 2 tear of the goddess items and that made me upset) Ha1kuu: wtf have they done to quin got banned from that(quin 1vs3 my team)

toxics do get banned. you just don't see the system working cos the system's clarity is bad.

Hi friend!

I did have to edit your original post, because naming and shaming players is against the Boards Universal Rules.

You're more than welcome to re-post the image for context, but you must remove the names of the players you're calling out.

If you have questions, feel free to talk to us in the The Boards Moderation Discord or the Discuss the Boards sub-board.

This all being said, banning and issuing penalties for toxic behaviour is based on a documented history of such behaviour. One person having a bad game can be frustrating if they're tilting all over you, but if it's their only bad game out of a long string of good ones, then issuing a penalty isn't really wise. Don't get me wrong, that behaviour should ALWAYS be reported, no matter what. That establishes the history of the behaviour. Certain words and phrases are a lot more prone to immediate action, such as the aforementioned 'kys.' However, penalties still take time to implement, even if there's help with algorithms and search-bots looking for trigger words.
