What is with this community??

I'm new to the game and doing my best to enjoy it. I often times inform my team that I am new and the feedback I receive is not so friendly. I have received many reports for "Inting" when all I'm doing is my best to learn and play the game. I've been restricted to BOT games many times as a result of being reported for "inting," when I'm simply new and don't know all the champions and their counters, let alone lane mechanics.

Lately I've improved my game play quite a bit and I find I report players often for their negative feedback towards me when I mention I'm new to the game.

On the other hand when I'm preforming optimal in my lane and my teammates are not I sometimes I ask other team members to report the said poor preforming team member, like has happened to me so many times, and I end up getting chat locked. Most instances where I am reported for "inting" there is always a flurry of messages in team / ALL chat asking others to report me. So I don't see what I'm doing different.

Right now is my second time being chat locked for "unsportsmanlike" conduct. Honestly these reports make me not want to play the game, not saying anyone has forced me to, as I do enjoy the game very much. However, it seems the community is truly terrible; most players are smug af and not open to helping new players learn the game, at least in my experience.

So I guess this is me venting and questioning the powers that be, why is it that I get reported for "inting" and have to suffer but those that report me for "inting" when I'm just trying to learn don't appear to suffer any punishment but then when I report my team for preforming poorly I also have to suffer once again and be chat locked. I don't believe it is a problem with the management I believe it to be a problem with the players and the community.

Thank you, Good day.

Your account is level 59.

Something doesn't add up.

Nothing. They get chat locked too, for the same reason you did.

If you can't handle the general vibe of a competitive team game, try Warframe. You'll get a much nicer response from people in a no-risk PvE game than one where your mistakes can ruin it for other people.

You do not need to ask for player reports. Never ever wil that change a thing if you're going your way to report them in the first place.

Instead - it shows that you're not better than them if you are "new" to the game and already report other for "inting" when they have a poor performance. Obviously you have NO IDEA what inting means. Every thought about having teammates that are even newer then you are? Then telling to report them for bad performance? Then coming to boards asking "what is wrong with this community, new players are asked to be reported for bad performance?" I mean what is that logic?

Maybe you should take the advice of Uber Deer and just go on to a different game.
