Make leavers lose 50% more LP, LeaverBuster punishment is more rewarding than punishing right now.

Why should the rest of the team get punished equal to the leaver, when we are the ones to be forced into an unwinnable 15 minutes game? Why not make the leaver pay up 50% extra LP loss, so if he normally would lose 20, he will lose 30. Being a good player and high elo doesn't only matter to gameplay, but also mentality, and AFK/leaving mentality is of lower skill, so why not make them drop harder for that?

Yes, LeaverBuster is a system designed for punishment, but it doesn't actually punish much. For example: My duoQ had problems with connecting to LoL, so he couldn't connect to 4 games, making it 36 players. All of these players are worth more than this just player getting a slight queue before going into games(LeaverBuster first punishment). After these 4 games he got LeaverBuster with a queue of like 5 minutes or 10. That's NOTHING. 4 games to get a 10 minute queue? That is 4 games ruined for 9 players in each game.

It's not scary to leave, it's more rewarding (stress relief), than punishing (a little queue-timer). I don't want leavers to get away so easily. Make the punishment stricter, please. My suggestion is 50% more LP loss for the leaver only. Don't know about Normal queues.

I hope they lose LP too. I used to be a leaver buster and it was really emergent but I really felt sry for my teammates and I think there must be better punishment nut I feel getting 20 minutes is really huge. It might be enough too.

The biggest issue I had with this is as you mentioned with your friend, connection problems.

Oh, people shouldn't que for a game if they have crappy connection? You can't always be certain of how a connection will run once in game. I normally go ARAM and then a blind pick to try and gauge how my connection is doing before a ranked game. Even then I will get an occasional spike or a sudden connection issue fifteen minutes into the match. Sometimes the issue is fixed by exiting and reconnecting.

So what if they can't reconnect? Yes I feel bad that my teammates are getting slated for it, but I don't think I should receive an extra penalty loss of lp for issues that can be caused from weather (not just storms either.) or my ISP deciding to update at some odd time without notice.

If you are referring to people who intentionally leave for either rage or thinking the match would only take 15 minutes, then I could understand that.

I can see and understand your argument, but I cannot agree with it.

Personally, I think they should change how the LP works with leaver games.

I've won plenty of 4v5s before, by having superior map knowledge and wave control. Granted it feels rewarding, but I do want more rewards out of it.

In conjunction to your idea of leavers loosing more LP, team of 4 should win more LP if they can win the game, or just loose less if they loose. If they are in the same party as the DCer, they would suffer the penalty together as well, but are eligible to gain more LP if they won (similar to /remake).
