Chat Restriction

I don't think it's fair that in two days I dropped from honor level 4 with 2 checkpoints to dishonorable. Recently I've been found toxic by my teammates and was reported, however, I don't think that I should be the one with the chat restrictions. In my first game, I was getting along with my bot lane. I was just aggravated that my top and jungle were constantly typing and being toxic to each other. I got a bit heated and said a couple of inappropriate things. Although I disagree with the fact that I was reported over my top and jungle I understand why it happened. On the other hand, in the second game, I got reported I was defending myself against a teammate who was making fun of me and because a couple of enemies didn't like me. In this scenario, I don't think I should've been restricted once again. I had an Ekko on my team who literally went afk, but I ended up being the one reported and he got off without being punished. I could tell that my second restriction was unfair because it happened a couple of minutes after that game. Riot just saw that I was restricted previously and saw that I got reported again so they instantly punished me. I was unfairly punished for saying mild things against a teammate who fed, made fun of me, and proceeded to afk. All in all I don't think I deserve to be at honor level 0 and I'm looking for another Riot employee to review my case again. I consider myself a decent person and I know there are far more people more toxic than me who go unpunished.

I got a bit heated and said a couple of inappropriate things.

This is likely the reason. All having previous punishments does is mean that you don't get as much leeway on the way to the next report. The system still looks at your logs for problematic behavior, and still throws out any logs without problematic behavior. The system is also automated, so the several-minute delay is definitely reasonable.

If you can post your chat logs, we can help you identify where the problem may have been.

If punishments didn't sting, there would be 0 point in passing them on at all

. On the other hand, in the second game, I got reported I was defending myself against a teammate who was making fun of me and because a couple of enemies didn't like me

There's no such thing as self-defence in chat - you're not in danger from people's chat and typing back doesn't protect you from anything. Muting is the actual self-defence.

and he got off without being punished

And you know this is true because...?

. I could tell that my second restriction was unfair because it happened a couple of minutes after that game

So a fast punishment is unfair.

Umm... why?

Riot just saw that I was restricted previously and saw that I got reported again so they instantly punished me.

That isn't howit works. False reports don't do nuttin, no matter what your punishment history looks like.

I was unfairly punished for saying mild things against a teammate who fed, made fun of me, and proceeded to afk.

Mild toxicity is still toxicity

. I consider myself a decent person

I consider myself a trustworthy client. But the banks still won't allow me any more loans...

and I know there are far more people more toxic than me who go unpunished.

You know this how?
