EVERY.... SINGLE...GAME. every single time I queue up. I'm so sick of it.

whether I'm mid or jungle, I get asked. Let me mid i'll carry, I can mid, give me mid.

And every damn time, they hover their pick, and if they don't get their way they lock something dumb or troll or just take their pick top regardless of how bad it screws the team up. So freaking sick of this. They force dodges, they troll champ select.

Is this happening to EVERYONE? at least half the time when someone asks me for mid, I'll end up taking jungle if the swap around works. I do it all the time if it looks like a smart move. But I don't always want to play that role. Sometimes I want to play mid. Is everyone getting spammed for their role EVERY. SINGLE. GAME. and held hostage if they don't give it?

You know what the best part is? If they actually ask for a role and get it, they have about a 90% chance of going 0/5/0 in the first 10 minutes.

I can honestly say I personally dont have that problem as a support main. but I have seen it happen, and I have watched what looks like a good team start to form fall straight into the dumpster because of it. The sad part is in almost every case the person that gave in and gave the role over, ends up losing because they took mid away from someone that actually knew what they were doing.

I've been having a mix of things similar.

The jungler asks to switch me for top, fuck it, guy probably sucks at jungle anyway so I switch. At least I try to switch. He never takes off smite so now we have Nasus jungle and I'm Kayn top. He feeds. We lose.
They don't ask to switch, but they pick a dumbass champion for their role (support Yorick the most recent). So I offer them top.. You know the place their champ could actually work.. Nope. They just go bot and do nothing.
And then we have the classic, the standard "hey can I top? I suck at support.", then surprise they actually suck at top too.

feel you. but what is riot supposed to do? they support antimeta, otherwise we'd still play ashe mid. a "kick a guy/cancel the lobby" could be abused pretty easy. (once again antimeta wouldnt happen cause ppl consider it troll)

I've been wanting a way to cancel a game in champ select because of these people or just toxic people in general so you don't have to dodge. It doesn't happen that often to me anymore but it still happens.

90 percent of the time I play top/mid. And I almost never have this issue. The vast majority of the time nobody asks to swap.

Weird. No this almost never happens to me. I main mid and top and I can't remember the last time someone asked for my role. Was probably months ago.

Edit: actually I remember one time. I actually gave them mid and both that guy and myself sucked ass in our roles. I forget what I traded for but I didn't do good, and he got stomped. After that I decided to stop trading.. luckily it's rare to begin with for me.

Yep. It's actually causes a bit of anxiety for me. I always worry what the person will troll pick when he doesn't get his role.

Blame Riot though, they're the ones who brought this beyond trashy system upon us. The game's just too shit to play it. Don't bother.

I saw it way more in ranked than what I see in normals nowadays, but it's one of the most toxic behaviors nontheless. I'm not saying you absolutely can't ask to swap, but ask once. If they say no, they say no. You are going to lose the game by spamming/flaming/trolling just to get the role you think you deserve.

I also think there should be a way to bail out of a queue without getting hit by a dodge timer. Either a vote cancel or a vote kick etc (the latter will need a maxium amount per day and/or a cooldown timer, etc. Some way to prevent repeated abuse) to deal with these kinds of people.

i get autofilled supp nonstop becuase they have autofill for 1 and should bring back the blind pick ranked( no issues there ). @ everyone hates to supp becuase its low impact, boring as hell, easy as hell to play.
