Did i seriously get banned for this ?

I've had 1 14 day ban so far and got banned for only 1 game.

do you think its a bit extreme to just permaban me because of this chat log ? I mean in the end I just defended myself. Why did I get banned for this ? I only said that mid and top shouldn't cry for ganks, because they didn't help me against Graves in my jungle .. Graves stole everything in my jungle so I was extremely behind .. I even said that it's just because I need exp so I can't gank a lvl6 Syndra when I'm a lvl4 Vi. My Sivir just wrote : " Vi. Wtf ? " when she got grabbed through the wall and I tried to help her by jumping in .. so riot.. can you really tell me what the purpose of banning me is now ? I've started playing this season and I gotta admit I need to get a better attitude and just mute people when they are toxic but my teammate Victor flamed me over the whole 26 minutes and said : Graves > Vi , Vi is afk , Vi just go afk, report vi. and things like that .. obviously these things trigger me and I shouldn't react to these people but you need to understand that I just defended myself.. had you bothered to actually read the 14 day ban notification, you'd have read that "any further displays of toxic behaviour on your part will result in a permanent suspension"

any

so behaviour that, had you a clean account, wouldn't even generate a chat restriction, counts this time

You used the chat, and didnt say ONLY NICE THINGS. This is clearly enough for Rito to ban you.

Anyway you can try a support ticket, but i'm sure it wont change anything, since Rito policies are stupid. Go play Dota or HoTS...

That's what did it. Though I certainly think it's overly harsh to permaban for that, even if you have had a 14-day ban already.

This chat log is tame enough to make it in a Disney film. Pretty stupid punishment if you ask me based on what you have provided.

I think it would be worth asking riot to un-permaban you. While the chat log you showed isn't too toxic, I can see why it would count as a strike/ban. Combined with the previous 14-day ban, a perma is just the next step.

I do think you need a lengthy chat ban. Not as punishment but to help curb your behavior on the rift. People can be toxic as hell in games, but that doesn't mean we need to defend ourselves through toxicity.

Even if you feel the bubbling rage, I like trying to be oozing with positivity. "Ah, Graves totally rekt me" "Won't be able to gank right away guys, sorry :(" "This graves is countering me so hard. Mb team" "Not having the best game today" The biggest thing is not calling out any of your teammates (no matter how poorly they are playing. Or how toxic they are).

The only thing in the log I see which is against the "rules" is calling for reports. I don't know why, but that is not permitted. There is a player in my club that likes to do that, and I am always nervous he might be penalized.

You should banned for that all chat crying to the other team report my team comments. They are by far the most annoying thing in league right now I have no idea why people think that the other team should be told about "toixc" behavior on the other team they can't even see it pathetic every time I see it I have no way to tell if they are really toxic but I know for sure the people going to all chat to say report my toxic team is a cry baby.

The reason you got banned was because you were very clearly being passive aggressive the entire chat to your team most people in low elo aren't great player some listen to music and some are bad and at lvl they won't see or come to pings live with it happens all the time. If had just been slient and not ganked but kept you mouth shut you been fine the important thing is to not spam chat everytime you have setting bad have in a game oh and grow up a little too that should help.

To be honest, I am surprised that there are 50% people ready to give this poor soul benefit of the doubt. The question is if Rito would do the same. This would be a meaningful step to improve the policy.

Just don't type? I have been banned before and I was seriously considering just taking off my "enter" key so that I won't be pushed beyond limit. You shouldn't be banned for this particular game but since you already had a 14-day ban, it means you WERE toxic before

from what ive read you probably said kys or some over the top toxicity that landed you an instant 14 day. theres no reason to give you a chat restriction if you dont learn from your mistakes. a chat restriction wont help you if youre just gonna be toxic in chat after its done.
