Unfair Banning System

I would love to get an answer as to why all reports towards me count as actual reports. I have had several games where I quote other players in order to make them see their wrong in how they communicate. For example, telling racist people to stop being racist and yet I am the one to always get banned as a result. How is this fair in any way? I stand up for people in the community and I am the one to get banned instead of the other players. Also, why are they not considering the whole conversation when it comes to banning. I report the player for starting a toxic discussion that in turn makes my team engage in the toxic conversation and I end up getting banned. Can we please get an actual banning system that makes sense. That actually keeps toxic players, racists, misogynists from the game not people calling them out on their ways. Fix your game please and your banning system because it is unfair for players to get banned for simply trying to shut down toxic people. Currently uninstalling and never playing this game again until I see an improvement in that aspect.

It is not your responsibility to "shut down toxic people" ... that is Riot's job. And one of the ways they do this is by looking at the things that people say.

So saying the things that toxic people say to show them how toxic it is, ... kind of like shooting yourself in the foot.

You need to stop trying to do this "vigilante justice" and report them at the end of the game. If you're being toxic back to them, or repeating toxicity that they said, that's not okay.

Telling players they are being toxic doesn't stop them from being toxic. Only muting and reporting will help.

Their system is riddled with flaws but all they'll do is have you believe that you're the problem, instead of good user experience design which actually listens to user feedback and adjusts accordingly. But hey, money talks.

Probably because they are.

Also, anyone being that toxic also got banned. It is not mutually exclusive, and all you are doing by reacting to them is worsening the issue. You cant beat trash on it's home turf.

don't, let them get banned and keep yourself safe.

ya know, if you actually did nothing bad to them you would've not been banned, so you probably argued and flamed him back which got to your ban.

but they do consider the whole conversation, and if you get banned it is 100% your fault for speaking as i said, don't speak and you'll be fine

You don't need to quote anyone. Odds are that if they are behaving poorly, they will not be receptive to your advice or criticism. Just report them and be done with it. Let Riot handle the situation.
