Why do so many people come onto the boards with their chat logs and explaining how they ''didn't'' deserve their penalty when the chat logs show clear, tons amount of toxicity and negativity?

It's not blindness. It's ignorance. The Internet is a safeguard, so their experience with negativity can be numbing. So no matter how big or small the offense is, people will always see other people on the internet as shadows, objects, or an idea that has no emotions. So they believe their words have no consequences or expect very little of it. They won't expect consequences for their actions or as most of these posters they see themselves as a victim due to the same ignorance as the offender. They believe they're allowed to be negative back or insult back, regardless if the ToU advise against it. The same ToU that everyone so happens to ignore and skip. These offenders think the ToU doesn't apply to them when they're playing the game. Generally speaking, most toxic players don't even know about the existence of the ToU's code of conduct and is not aware that they do own their accounts.

As someone who has posted and responded a few times on this board, the player behavior boards is an extremely divided community- You have the first group of people who believe that toxicity is okay, and that people shouldn't get banned over it. The second group believes the opposite is true. These two have no middle ground, and it's a toss up on which side is the most upvoted or downvoted with the same arguments being regurgitated over and over again from both sides.

Some people believe their behavior is socially acceptable online because it's the internet and not IRL face to face.
