so i was on rift as Vi and he was Pyke , chill game no much going on i burned 3 summoner 4 early Akali 's , Heimerdinger 's and Jax 's but didn't manage to get kill or assist, moments later Jax (without summoner 4 ) gets an easy double on bot, and im instantly blamed by Pyke for that, well we actually knew that Jax was bot cause he was there before and just entered the bush, i was moving bot by the time but they both MissFortune & Pyke facecheck the bush and died. So he started blaming me for that very offensively and i just muted him and MissFortune cause the spammed pings and chat. But later when i went bot and ulted Akali beside Heimerdinger both of them focused Leona and i died. So as they did before i unmuted them and very offensively as well pointed they mistakes and return the you "you just cant play comments" but just as they did. Then Pyke went full aggressive on me and ofc i returned the favor, the point is that i just cursed HIM that he flamed and cursed me, making me not wanting to play the game, i said sorry to the others for not wanting to carry a toxic trash and riot banned me for using adult language AT HIM who used it as well, like ok i am adult and if he use it too i asume he is adult too. I muted him and didn't work at all, ok i cursed and got banned i just wanna know if he get banned too, cause if i get 14 days for absolutely sh.t he must be permabanned.

To the OP;

...the point is that i just cursed HIM that he flamed and cursed me, making me not wanting to play the game...

It doesn't matter if someone else flames you first, you're not allowed to flame period. You don't get a free pass to break the rules just because someone else broke them first.

I muted him and didn't work at all...

It didn't work because you unmuted him. If you mute someone, do not unmute them at any point further in the match. Don't complain that muting "didn't work" when you voluntarily unmuted him.

...ok i cursed and got banned i just wanna know if he get banned too, cause if i get 14 days for absolutely sh.t he must be permabanned.

It is not your place to know what another player's account status is. If you reported them, they'll get punished, but it is not your concern whether that punishment is a chat restriction or an account suspension.

As to the rest of the commenters; don't do that. Seriously. Remember the PB Guidelines.

Be Helpful

In general, all responses should assume good intent on the part of the poster, even if there is strong evidence to the contrary. The only exception is when Riot officially presents evidence of misbehavior.

Most people who come to Player Behavior after a ban or chat restriction are frustrated, angry or upset. It is important that our responses remain positive and come from a genuine desire to help them understand what happened and why. Replies that are overly negative, dismissive or combative are not appropriate and may be removed.

These include (but are not limited to):

  • Telling people you’re glad they’re banned.
  • Low-effort taunts such as the Rammus “ok”.
  • Saying the community is better off without them.

If you feel like a post isn't worth giving a proper response to, then don't. Dropping that Zombie Brand Facepalm sticker isn't helpful, and it's just insulting.

The main thing you need to understand is that the system punishes based on consistency x severity, meaning you can be punished for 1 game of extreme toxicity or many many games of mild toxicity.

Now also understand that everyone has a different behavioral history. It is possible for playerA to get punished and playerB not to, even though playerB was waaayyyyy more toxic . Let's say playerA started the game with the toxicity meter at 95% and playerB's at 35%. Ingame, playerB said some pretty nasty shit and playerA responds with some shit as well. After the game, playerA gains 10% toxicity and playerB gains 50%. Now playerA is at 105% toxicity and gets punished, whereas playerB is at 85%, and not punished in that specific game, even though playerB was found to be 5x more toxic than playerA in that game.

So in your case, it depends on where you and that Pyke were at on the toxicity meter.

You can always mute them. Two wrongs doesn't make a right.

Well Riot doesnt share other people's account status so if I was you, I would try to move on. It makes no difference in your life whether or not a stranger from god knows where has his league of legends account banned because he said mean things to you. Just know that Riot has no reason for favoritism amongst their players so they will deal with it as they see fit and its completely out of your control. I wish to grant you the strength to accept the things you cannot control. Also, check out Kei's post... im glad he explained that, because I was going to if I didnt see that lol.

If you're really curious about if he was punished, check his NA/OP/GG stats (replace slashes with periods). That's about the only way you can "officially" tell at least with suspensions and bans.

Otherwise, I'm right there with you. I'm to the point that if flaming is so frowned upon, there needs to be an immediate consequence to every single use of a cuss word or insult after every game. At least that way people know punishments are being meted out. None of this "friendly banter" bullshit anymore. There's no such thing in this toxic game, lol.
