I linked the original Korean thread, the translated one can be seen here

The community blew up in Korea and on /r/LeagueofLegends because players found out that Riot Korea had known about the scripters, invited them to their company, and let them keep making scripts.

It's gotten to a point where Script sellers speak out about Riot Korea because they fear how the server is being managed

Seriously, if you walk into a Korean gaming cafe you can find scripters everywhere

Riot Korea's mail

Riot Korea openly invites the scripter, saying they would like to have a discussion with the scripter. They say that to make scripts, they must be diehard fans of the game so they would like THE SCRIPT MAKER's opinions.

This was the discussion the script maker had with Riot BACK IN 2014

Script Maker: Are we getting sued? Riot Korea: No, Riot Korea will never take legal actions as our principle

Script Maker: Aren't you worried about people getting unfair ELO advantages Riot Korea: No, even if someone else uses scripts, people that would have gone up WILL go up in Ranked.

Riot Korea: Would it be possible to stop selling scripts? Script Maker: Even if we stop others will sell it Riot Korea: That's none of your concern.

After that, Riot Korea gave them a company tour, hung out with them and let them go. Because they got confirmation from Riot Korea, they started selling hacks much more, and more openly than before, they claim making 7000$ a month from just the profit of reselling scripts.

People asked Riot Korea why they invited script makers to their company and didn't do anything, and they Openly lied about inviting them, saying they would never do such a thing

Following up, Riot Korea's community representative/GM posted on the thread, confirming that they invited the script makers, and they have known about them for a long time.

Also they said they didn't take legal actions because they were 17, which goes against the statement they have made.

Players have also been reporting script selling websites with the names/phone number/address of the website owner, no action has been taken on them for 3++ months when the website eventually got closed by the HOST

This is a post I have made a week ago, this talks about the scripting situation in Korea and how serious it is.

http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/QtGZd34E-scripting-is-getting-way-too-out-of-hand-in-korea

People are openly scripting on public places like Internet Cafes, young students are calling their friends names for not using scripts, two famous streamers were found scripting with irrefutable evidence, one even admitting it them abandoning his account, yet not banned. Now they taunt players by naming their stream "Lol I turned on scripts ^^ come at me" to mock players.

People are calling it the Grand Script Era, Korea has more players in Ranked than any other region (2.8m Korea 2.3m NA) and is known to be the most competitive region. However because of this situation many players are quitting, and if the Korean sever dies, it's going to leave a severe impact in League of Legends.

Action needs to be taken now.
