Why are you not able to use your client when you have Leaverbuster? Why do Rito punish your friends?

If you get Leaverbuster you have this big window in front of your client, that disable the using of the client completely. There is my question: Why am I not able to use my client (for Loot or Shop or Chat etc.) in the 20min waiting time? Is that necessary? And why I am not able to wait the 20min and invite friends, AFTER I waited the Leaverbuster time? So my friends could play an URF in that time and then dont have to wait too. I mean why should you punish my friends when just I was afk? [sg-janna]

The system doesn't hit your friends. It hits YOU. You just happen to bring your friends into this.

The reason LeaverBuster locks you out of the rest of the Client is to ensure that you're there and ready to accept the queue when it pops.

And, no, it doesn't punish your friends, it punishes you.

Because you left the game. Rito punish you for making poor choices, not your friends.
