if experienced players want to level a new account, we end up ruining the game for new players

i absolutely fucking hate playing against new players. i hate the fact that i'm matched against them, it's not fair for them. not trying to brag or anything, they're new and don't know how to play. but i need a new account, and leveling in normals is the fastest way.

so if i want to level a new account to dynamic boost play ranked with my bronze friends, my options are:

  1. use a bot to automatically level my account in co-op vs ai games, which will result in me getting banned. i refuse to do this.

  2. stomp new players in normals. i am not that kind of person, my top priority is making the game as fun as possible for new players, to even out the amount of useless toxic douchebags in the lower levels.

  3. play bot games, often getting matched with 4 people using leveling bots. i have to hard carry or we lose, because the botted accounts feed the bots. this is what i've been doing, but it's frustrating as fuck, and i hate the fact that they can do nothing and still get the same amount of IP/XP as me when i did 100% of the work

what do you want us to do riot? the only option that doesn't ruin the game for new players is playing vs bots, which takes much MUCH longer. do you want me to go into normals and stomp new players? or start scripting?

i know you give fresh level 30 accounts to professional players and rioters. why can't we buy the same kind of account within the client? it would solve SO many issues and make the new player experience better overall, since they're playing against people of their skill level and not smurfs.

Play in normals, but be nice to new players and help teach them about league. Out of every game I have done this, 70%ish of the time at least one person expresses gratitude towards me for helping them learn.

Sure, your team is more likely to win, but if you are offering advice to everyone then it helps both teams learn and improve.

I think the best option is to play normals, but actively restrain/challenge yourself (of course trying to win for the ip). Go for no-damage build, try to make it through with zero kills and zero deaths, play an off-meta pick to make a unique and fun experience for new players. It's much more enjoyable and much less toxic :D

Very few brand new players are playing pvp, and even then, smurfs are quickly matched up with other smurfs due to MMR

handicap yourself. when i leveled my smurfs i started off feeding 5 or 6 kills right off the bat. i'd turret dive at lvl 1 before minions spawned then flame my team for not helping me, try to tilt the whole game as much as possible, then come back and win. that's the fun of smurfing, good to let off steam when you're banned because you've been trolled.

riot hands out bans for being gang hated by a group of intentional feeders. they hand out bans for people reporting you for 1v3'ing when they're on the other side of a wall 5 steps away refusing to help you. smurfs are born and breed terror, it's their system, they designed it that way.

I was going to post as someone else did - you can play really suboptimal stuff and you can give advice to everyone.

It's one thing to win, another to stomp. You can carry and win 95% of your games while not stomping anyone until your mmr has risen to place you against other smurfs.

I also want to say that: I've never had the problem in intermediate 5v5 bots of someone scripting It's pretty easy to carry 3v3 beginner bots with scripters - just hide in the same Lane and kill the bot when it attacks the scripters to get ahead and snowball.

you realize riot literally asks you your experience with moba, so they know who to put you with right? lmao. act like an adult and grow up.
