How to appeal a 14 day ban?

How do you appeal one? My friend just got one and he asked me to find out. I was in the matches with him he got reported and we got stuck with several trolls in a row who would try to steal his lane after he already called it and they got all pissy and kept telling the enemy team to report him over and over and over again. All he would say is okay? i didnt even do anything but tell you not to autolock when someone calls a lane before you. Like seriously the worse things he said was "wtf dude", "if your gonna report me im gonna report you", "quit being an immature little baby because your not getting you way", "and you cant just be a dick to someone when you know your in the wrong and they called the lane first". please explain to me how those things are bad. i would post his chat card but i dont know his account info to get it.

You can't appeal bans unless they are a mistake on Riot's part though, it is a high chance it wasn't a mistake.

The best way to "appeal" a ban is to send a support ticket with the relevant account information and request a Rioter review the case. The punishment will not be overturned unless it was an error by the system though.

For him to reach a 14 day ban, he would've needed multiple violations over a period of time, or to have done something really severe during the game in question. So, what you're providing isn't exactly credible enough for anyone to give this post a second thought.

You don't. Just wait it out.

You don't. There's nothing to appeal, because it was deserved.

I'd say this looks like a deserved ban. Telling someone to kill themselves is pretty high on getting bumped past chat restrictions to a 2-week.

I'd rather see them post about it and include their chat logs that led up to this punishment. If they have been consistently toxic (retaliation isn't acceptable) then it would come to reason that they should now take a look back at their previous actions and stop completely what they are doing. FYI: They aren't banned from the boards if their account is under a 14 day ban (or even if it got perma banned).

How dare him actually play his own lane and get punished for calling out online bullies. Riot creates safety zones for actual action griefers, and focus on mass premade group reports on mild chat. You can't even call a griefer a troll. They are overstepping way too far, and taking away actual gameplay from passionate competitive gamers, and babysitting the people who are ruining hours of everyone's lives by actually griefing. Stop comparing actions to mild words.

It is almost 100% likely that you cannot successfully appeal your ban, but if you want any help at all, please post your logs.

They can be found on your reform card you should see when you attempt to log in.
