LPQ is just straight up Bull...crap... Automatic System needs a human appeal element.

In the last 20 games I've lost power once(storm blinked power, which required my PC to restart and reconnect to client) and had a client crash that required a PC reboot to reconnect. I'm somehow now on the LPQ.

How the hell is either of those my fault? I'm obviously not AFK'ing/Trolling whatever.

Match History. Oldest to newest.

1/9/10 poppy ARAM (no clue how to play new poppy lol) 1/4/3 Twitch ARAM (power outage into a 14 minute defeat) 11/7/15 Skarner ARAM 8/7/25 Gragas ARAM 12/7/8 Ez SR 16/4/10 Ez SR 13/1/3 Ez SR 14/8/10 Ez SR 21/6/13 Ez SR 8/3/1 Ez SR 11/8/8 Ez SR 6/3/6 Ez SR 15/11/17 Ez SR 13/11/11 Ez SR 7/4/16 Ez SR 11/12/10 Ez SR 10/9/4 Ez SR 19/11/10 Ez SR 6/10/19 Ez SR 2/3/2 Ez SR (crashed, tried to reconnect 5 times into a black screen, had to reboot, might I add that I had just requeued after the previous listed game in which the client was working just fine)

So where is this heinous AFK'ing that deserves punishment? Why am I on LPQ? 2 instances of being AFK (both out of my control) within a 20 game period in which is obvious I was an active participant in every other game? W..T..H... Riot.

Riot does understand that things happen. That's why there is limited leniency built in. But it's also your responsibility to make sure your equipment is up to the standard needed to play. Like it or not, a 1.8GHz computer is not up to standards, and you're playing Roulette with your account and the game outcomes for up to 9 other players.

BTW: Your earlier post complained about an unstable client. Odds are it's related to trying to play on a substandard machine.

A couple of disconnects due to power outages or software issues is not enough for Riot to bring out the ban hammer on you. The automatic system, however, does not distinguish between legitimate issues and someone leaving due to anger. Lag, ISP issues, and such are too convenient an excuse even if it is the honest truth. Online game developers would be overwhelmed with such claims and have to draw the line somewhere. Riot isn't the only company to do this. Blizzard does it as well. And that's just off the top of my head. I'm sure there are others.

If the game is crashing on you, tell Riot about it. They'll want to address this if possible. Frequent power outages should go to your landlord since basic tenant law requires them to look in to it. But if these things happen often enough for the auto system to put you in to low priority, you may have to consider not playing League. It's not what you want to read. But it's true.

Play out your LPQ and stop going AFK? Whether you intended to go afk or not is irrelevant since the act still happened. The simple fact is LPQ keeps people who have unreliable connections from ruining as many matches, and that's a good thing. The only other reasonable solution would be sticking you all on a prisoner island where only afks and disconnects play, which would be very bad.

Well, if that's how he feels about it, I won't miss the OP. How about the rest of you?
