The Way Reports Are Reviewed Needs Updated

With the way league has been changing over the past few years, I feel that a time of change for something has become past due.

When you queue up for a match of league your expecting to have fun and enjoy the game. Not every game goes that way, especially in lower elos. With the current system of reporting certain things are not report able when they should be. A few examples; A duo intentional refusing the surrender vote to hold the other 3 members hostage in a match they want out of, People banning your pick in champ select on purpose just to deny it from you to tilt you, people stealing your pick again just to tilt you.

Now get onto the severity of what type of report is worse. I feel that having people get banned for saying bad words on an online multiplayer game makes zero sense. Imagine if COD banned every player that said "this is f---ing stupid" or "F--K off you b----h". They would ban half their players in a week. Now flaming is wrong but not as sever as a teammate going 0/20/4 then blaming you for the defeat. I feel verbal Harassment needs to be lowered on severity. The system Also needs to look into what caused that verbal to come out. Not every player is toxic every game. Some just have a bad day decide to play league then get hit with that 0/15/3 Yasuo that's saying all kinds of rude things about your mother. Yes the mute button is a thing. Yes everyone can use it, But sometimes people like to know what else has been said, I personally look for apologies from the toxic person. /Mute all is a thing as well but if you do that you have less communication. In Lower elo people don't always ping they say it in chat.

I've been playing league sense season five, The report review system has barely changed at all in four years. When you compare four years ago to now its two completely different games. I feel that with the changing game and changing community the report/punishment system needs updated as well.

"Not surrendering" should never be reportable under any circumstances.

People banning your pick will never be a ban worthy offense. You can ban any champion for any reason. How "YOU" react to it is your problem, not theirs. I have had my champion banned many many times, (people think sona and lulu are 100% useless.), all i do is pick another and play.

and as stated above, same with not surrendering (to an extent). The 3 and 4 hour OCE hostage games come to mind, not perm ban worthy, but worthy of a slap to the wrist atleast.

wait why saying NO to surrender should be reportable? thats silly i have had a lot of games where 3 ask to surrender and yet we turn it around and win. the ban/pick ally champ to grief need to be proofed to be banned and theres no way you can proof.

if someone is flaming you u use the report button, simple.
