Here's a tiny suggestion. Why doesn't riot allow honor level 1 people to get their ranked rewards?
Because if you're truly toxic you'll be honor level 0. And if you've played enough to climb up through all 3 checkpoints I feel like you're starting to reform. Why not reward people who are starting to reform? Wouldn't this be more fair? And what would be the negatives with this?
THe whole honor system is pathetic, I got chat restricted once for 10 games in 2 years. Now I lose my diamond border skin+chroma and I was honor lv 4 btw. Its just dump to rob people beacouse they are not PG 12.
Because the starting point for everyone was Honor level 2. So that being the minimum honor req for ranked rewards makes sense.
The negative being people knowing they can be light or mildly toxic and still get rewards.
If I remember correctly, the first instance of a punishment (disregarding 14-day bans) typically results in a clean account going down to Honor Level 1 - and since Honor Level 2 is the baseline, we kind of have to count Honor Level 1 as "dishonorable", since one would actually have to have broken the rules and gotten punished for it to get there.
It's great that some people may be reforming, and have probably worked their way up to Honor Level 1 out of Level 0, but they've still got a ways to go before they can regain Honorable status.
And, like Imperial Pandaa said - given that Honor Level 2 is the baseline, and most first offenses result in being dropped to Level 1, that would probably result in people who were just recently toxic - who would have otherwise been disqualified from End of Season rewards - to qualify for them, despite having only just gotten off their chat restriction.
This is absolutely ridiculous. All that grind time and no rewards. The honor system doesn't even work.If anything at all it makes people hate the people who work on the game. Straight bogus
can i get frame on honor level 1
Took me 11 months to get from honor level 0 to 1 without even talking in game so yeah... if you get to 0 you might as well make a new account if you want rewards :p
If i am lower than honnor lvl 1 do i still get the diamond boarder at the end of the season for next season? do i only lose the oriana skin? Do i get nothing whats happening? someone please clarify :)
Having people ruining our games sometimes making us lose our temper. It's just sad getting restricted for just 2 games (as riot showed me) losing yearly rewards. Whole system is wierd.
