People get to do things that intentionally ruin games (something that affects your rank, and the outcome of games)

if you say anything about this player intentionally losing just to grief (doesn't affect the outcome in any way)

10 chatbans and bam no rewards

if you report the player after game (lowered honor gains)

you will get what you deserve, trust me on that, you are going out of your way to infuriate people you rely on for your livelihood

Correction. Toxic players hate Riots. The community loves Riot. The community plays this game to play. Toxic players play this game to get banned. The biggest difference between toxic players and the community. The community reads and UNDERSTANDS the Terms of Use.

Also this thingy about reporting players lowing honor? Wut? No idea where you got that nonsense from, but that's absolutely not true. Period.

Oh but being toxic in chat does affect something. It affects people's enjoyment. And that's the bottom line for League - enjoyment.

A lost game? Hell, we all lose half of our games anyway. I can deal with that. Watching people being assholes in chat? That makes me want to uninstall.

Riot likes paying customers. The vast majority of paying customers don't like dealing with toxicity in chat.
