THE SERIOUS AND IGNORED ISSUE of bots in Twisted Treeline and how to fix it.

Riot doesn't care about this at all, considering how long it's been going on and how easy it is to fix. I'd estimate in most solo que TT games at level 30 bots comprise 30-40% of "players." At lower levels it's well over 50%. It's extremely easy to differentiate the bots from actual players without even watching them play, they all use the same summoner icon and never have a final mastery (possibly no masteries whatsoever.)

I'm not a trained coder or developer but I have experience botting in other games, there are sooooooooooooooooooo many ways to identify and subsequently ban these bots. They could fix this situation with minimal effort, however it seems they simply don't care and this is just a theory but perhaps it's due to the map's lack of popularity in comparison to others; statistically speaking TT is probably far more popular now than ever before, thanks to bots.

This has been a well known issue for a long time now and there doesn't seem to be any legitimate effort being put forth to resolve it, strange... item 3301item 3303 item 3302

You'd be surprised how much a new player that doesn't chat can look like a bot; Riot is not in the business of banning new players, so they need to be 100% certain before taking action.

When Riot takes a certain behavior and ties it to botting, the botters try to change their program a little bit to go undetected again, and this is a back and forth battle. They also do bot bans in waves to help prevent them from figuring out how they are getting caught. Riot absolutely does care about the botting issue and have people constantly working to improve their detection, but you must also keep in mind that accounts are free so they get to make the bot accounts in massive amounts; no matter how good the detection is, some of those will slip through longer than they should.

If you come across bots, do your part and report it so Riot can improve their detection system and take care of the bots.

Your post doesn't actually have any solutions

Every other game can detect Bots, not sure why you guys are against it, unless you're botting.

I'd assume that this is on a plan of action whiteboard somewhere at Riot HQ, but just not dug into yet.

They've got some serious community issues to address currently.

Took a screen shot to have before they delete this. Also I voted purple to keep my opinion out of the poll results and cause purple.
