Being banned in League of Legends - A frustrating experience [THOUGHTS]

So, I've got plenty of bans in this game, for sure lots of them were deserved ones, some of them not so much. Allow me to explain. I just had some ranked games, one game, one guy goes lux support, no problem with that, I die against ashe and brand combo 2-3 times, while Lux missed most abilities, not a problem, but afterwards he proceeds to ult minions to take my farm, so there you go, just got trolled, with no chance of coming back. The guy then roamed and let me 1v2, ofc, I typed stuff in chat, could be considered flame or not, I was trying to justify myself, since I got blamed. I try my best, we got back and won, cool. I got reported.

Second game comes, dude goes Kalista support, premade with jg Lee Sin. Dude proceeds to take all my farm and just troll me, I tried to stand it, no chance he would just not care, not even communicate. I go top, help the toplaner, then I assist as much as I can. Helped my team won, we actually won, Kalista was like 14 deaths already. Lee blames me instead, Kalista being his premade. Guess who got reported and banned? Me, of course.

I had 14 days ban on this account. I played with care mostly, tried not to flame or something, but man, I get stuff like this so often it's frustrating and sometimes I type my thoughts out, not swearing or stuff, just trying to talk to them, I get salty, still getting trolled, losing games, lp and time.

Now a perma came. I don't even know, I understand that being toxic and aggressive is not something good, but what about these people that just fk your games up? And seriously, how can you say that you should just mind your game when this is a team game? You literally can't carry alone, you need cooperation. It feels unfair and just fuels your tilt along the way. I should type nothing and just get inted and trolled? How come? I did that once, twice, three times, but how many times do you think a player can take?

How about changing things into league? How about people that ruin games and experiences on purpose get punished as well? For real, like, you can troll as much as you want, int as much as you want and as many games, as long as you don't type one word in chat you're absolutely cool. Another way I got trolled is to fake that you got lag and also int as much as you want. And because I typed some mean words to the guy, who BY THE WAY, has a mute button and can stop me means I have to get punished?

Some people are truly toxic, they just flame whatever you do. Yes, people like this deserve a ban, I can understand that, but so do inters, griefers, trollers. I would totally not "flame" someone if they would not just troll and run it down mid for whatever reason he finds fit. It's just frustrating and unfair. You do your best, try to keep focused and just hear "An ally has been slain" constantly from a guy who also refuses to communicate and doesn't care at all, then you just type whatever stuff, could even not be flame, and get banned. Wow, that's a healthy and well build system.

Riot doesn't care, obviously. So this is just a post of thought. Nothing will change, people will keep saying I deserve a ban no matter what and that I should not "flame"(typing literally any word isn't flaming, for real, some people are really exaggerating).

Fields of justice my ass, there's no justice. It's a highly competitive game, of course stress is coming up, people need to express themselves, not in detriment of others, of course, but still.

Also, the thing is, I did not understand the concept of flaming until few months ago. I thought it meant swearing, saying bad words and stuff. But it's up to the other players interpretation of that word. So even if you don't really flame and just expose some thoughts about your current game, you'll get banned.

GGWP, barely had fun with League, really a rare experience having fun into this game. Frustration is what I got the most from League experience.

Because your chat was found to be in violation of the rules. Whether or not what you did was "justified" is not the point, flame across the board is not permitted.

Reports don't stack, that means one person reported you and the automated system found your chat logs to be breaking the rules. To be honest, discussing punishments like this is pointless because you're giving us the scenarios but not the logs themselves which is what matters the most.

For real, like, you can troll as much as you want, int as much as you want and as many games, as long as you don't type one word in chat you're absolutely cool.

This is absolutely, 100%, without a doubt false.

I'm going to link this comment here because I'm on mobile, but there's a mountain of cases where people who int/grief/troll get punished properly.

Not everyone you view as guilty of doing those things is actually guilty. People have bad games, people like to play off-meta, punishments can take time to be doled out, errors can occur, and you have no way of consistently knowing whether or not someone was punished.

And because I typed some mean words to the guy, who BY THE WAY, has a mute button and can stop me means I have to get punished?

The mute button is not an excuse to act however you want. Riot has stated this multiple times.

Negative language is still against the rules, just because another player can functionally ignore what you're saying does not mean it's permitted.

Also, the thing is, I did not understand the concept of flaming until few months ago. I thought it meant swearing, saying bad words and stuff. But it's up to the other players interpretation of that word. So even if you don't really flame and just expose some thoughts about your current game, you'll get banned.

Actually no, the definition of flaming is pretty set in stone.

You won't get banned just because someone says you're flaming, false reports don't do anything and won't increase the likelihood of you getting punished. Flaming is anything considered to be objectively negative or condescending. If you say "Ashe, I'm fucking dying down here, please stop being an asshole and help", that is flaming.

Whereas a more direct, less aggressive message like "Hey Ashe, can you come back bot? Getting destroyed down here" is not flaming.

If that was your experience with League, you probably should have stopped playing a while ago or slowly cut down on your time played. Sorry you had such a rough experience, GL in whatever you move to.

If frustration is what you get out of a game, then you should find something that doesn't frustrate you.

A frustrating experience

Frustration is what I got the most from League experience.

And frustration is what people who played with you experienced if you earned yourself a permanent ban.

I'm using the chat very often , to say if the enemy has spell on cd or if they are missing or call an objective. I never got banned and im playing since season 1 . The only punished i got was 5 min que times for 5 games. Because of my internet and thats all but that was back in season 5 i think :O and honestly i totally deserved that.
