@Riot Tantram Is the "A player you got reported has been punished" notification no longer a thing?
Given that Riot allegedly have a zero tolerance policy towards hate speech, when I report a toxic Lee Sin for literally saying "kys n#####" in the post-game screen, I expect this pop-up to appear pretty promptly. But I've not seen it, and honestly none of the players I've recently reported for toxicity besides this guy have produced the pop-up recently either. Not even the Zyra who flamed my ADC first in Italian, then in English to make sure that he understood that he was being abused, then capped it off with something like "REPORT ME IDC". If memory serves... this was a while ago and yet still no notification that there was any punishment.
It really makes me question the point of reporting anyone if there's no indication that they're actually getting punished from it. Yes, I know some people must get banned from it, because a lot of them post salty "WHY WAS I BANNED" threads here, but it feels like the majority of reports just get ignored, even this most recent one which should surely at least warrant some kind of punishment, even if it's just a chat restriction. If reports are really such a useful tool in helping to root out toxicity in the community, surely you should be showing people who do report toxicity that it's effective, rather than leaving them wondering whether their report even did anything or if the player in question is just continuing to play completely unpunished?
Have a screenshot as proof btw, but don't know if posting it breaks some kind of boards rule. If it would be useful and would result in a ban for this player though, I'm more than happy to provide it.
