2 Week ban from one of my least toxic encounters?
I've been playing more a lot lately, and I'm not perfect. I don't think anyone in this game is. Everyone has something that will trigger them. Anyways I got raged at all game in this particular instance and I just got fed up with it. Legit left my game to go get a glass of water and came back. I was doing better then anyone on my team but this cait just felt the need to tell me any flaw I made or that I was costing us the game as she was walking around 3-8. I called her out on it. I got a 2 week ban for this. I've been progressively getting better at not being toxic. I'd say if i played 5 games in a day I was usually toxic 1 game. Lately its probably closer to 1 in 10, and I work HARD on this as I know its a character flaw with myself taking the game a bit too serious sometimes. However considering this improvement I can tell you 5-6 other times where I probably deserved a ban and got nothing. Then on a game where I filtered myself for the most part I receive a 2-week ban literally 5 minutes after the game. 5 minutes, Thats not enough time for a full review. Do you even read what people flaming the reported person says? Or do you just care that someone got reported. I had to deal with 40 minutes of her constant flame and I get banned. I can only imagine the only reason a service team would be doing this is a recent increased attempt to crack down on toxic behavior, but bloody hell this was outright ridiculous.
Alas I will be back in 12 days. I'm just really salty that my improved behavior over the last couple weeks resulted in my first ban. I know when I'm an a-hole and I usually step away if I'm being one because it's not something I want to continue to do in attempts of personal improvement in my ranked games. It's just disheartening in this situation. Makes you feel like the overseeing gm was just having a bad day and I got in the way.
