Connection issues do not result in behavioral punishments, so you don't need to worry about that.

It's also a little inaccurate to say that one report will equal a permanent ban. Be more accurate situation is that if you accrue enough negative behavior to trigger a punishment of any level, including what would normally earn just a chat restriction, your account will be permanently banned. Sufficient good behavior over a large number of games played will slowly begin to restore your account standing to the point where this is no longer the case, but we cannot give you an accurate idea of exactly when this will be, is that information has never been officially released.

Behavior related bans are separate from leaver buster. You will not receive a behavior related permanent ban from the leaver buster for getting disconnected from a game.

It isn't 1 report = permanent ban. However, you are on very thin ice, and even a minor VALID report can send you over the line and into permanent ban.

That said, you'll be on thin ice for a while. If I were you, I'd consider your account in jeopardy at least until you reach Honor 3 or 4, which could be a very very long time, and even then, you likely would not be in clean status yet. Getting hit with another penalty then would likely land you right back to 14 day ban. You probably won't have a clean account until reaching Honor 5.

Note: This isn't to say that there's necessarily a direct link between the status of your account and honor. However, as they follow essentially the same metrics, it's a decent enough benchmark.

1 report does not = perma ban.

1 report doesn't lead to punishment at all.

It takes multiple reports to trigger a review, and a review will determine punishment based on the consistency and severity of the action(s) if the reports are determined to be relevant.

Losing connection isn't always reported, nor is a single instance necessarily determined to be punishable.

I have disconnected before and I am sure that it was reported. I have never received punishment of any kind. A review on my account would not show that I consistently disconnect, and a review of the specific match (possibly matches, taking into account that it may have happened more than once) would not show that I disconnected as a result of frustration.

If you show consistency in disconnecting or it is determined that you are intentionally disconnecting, a review is likely to lead to punishment.

I received 14 days bans like 3 o 4 times, and low priority queue several ones too. My account is still active. Still playing. Don't worry.

I think AFK is like a separate set of punishments, so you wont get permabanned if you disconnect. 1 report=permaban isnt true. Not sure where you got that from, but if you break the rules again, your next step IS permaban, so I would play it real safe if i were you. Just keep the chat completely neutral, or positive, or just dont use it at all if you question whether something is neutral or not.

If you truly want to avoid a perma, disable all chat and use the mute button on teamates.

Sometimes riot will just look for reasons to perma ban you so you can make new accounts and flush more money and even if you type something thats not toxic or even swear, the fact that you type a certain number of lines in chat, ( more than 7) will easily get you banned< it could be as ridiculous as perma banned for "spamming" or irrelevant talk etc.

The trick is avoid chat and you will not get a perma.
