so how long does it take to get out of honor level 1? ive been a 100% positive player for over a month now, and im still honor level 1. The punishment i had gotten was 10 chat restrcitions, so it wasnt like a ban or anything severe. Im not even going to play after i go back to school, so it seems like a total waste of time playing if i cant get rewards for so long over something so minor
yeah I got a chat restriction 3 months ago and have been stuck at honor lv 1. I still get keys for "sportsman like behavior" which is weird. I even get rewards, and stuff but my honor doesnt change. maybe once uve been labeled toxic you cant level up honors till next season.

well. apparently severe enough to warrant the 10 game chat restriction. hence severe enough to demote your honor rank. best and easiest way to climb back up to the default "honor rank 2" simply reform and don't type anything that can be taken as provocative/toxic.
I got the same "problem", i dont know how long it takes but i hope i lvl up soon :)
since i can remember the new honor system was introduced at 29th of june so its half a month since it came out. If you got a punishment after then you are most likely about 12-14 days playing while beeing level 1
I played over 130 games since then on one account and i didn't level up to level 3 yet. Nobody has any idea how long it takes yet.
The next patch should've fixed it. In the pbe it says "honor level 3 and below honor points raised to 1x" Meaning before honor would mean something less than 1x making it harder to get out of honor level 1 + 2. Hope this helps
Riot gives me the same restriction and I am level honor 1... Just because I said: "jax, after the game, dont play again", i also said others things but it was like: wp, gg, gj, nice etc. I get 3 honors in so many games and I am level 1. So please explain me the logic, the goal of this... They did bad work on this new system, dats ridiculous, I think they should punish more all the flamers we see on that game instead of me saying what I said.... So I got a chat restriction ban for 10 games about 2-3 months or longer ago, was having a bad day, a duo que was messing with me and being complete jerks, just kinda lost it on them a bit and now I'm stuck at honor level 1.
Was the first of my friends to get honor level 4 I reached it as fast as possible practically and now I won't get season rewards or a chance to play pbe until I can get 3 :/

why dont you just write a support ticket to riot? i mean it's most likely they answer there than here,

I was toxic before, after chat restriction of 10 games or so I've been put to honor level 1. I am getting key fragments over time, no capsules. I can say for sure that i have reformed my behavior and I'm getting A+ or S in 95% of my games. Its season 8 now and i have 67-85% win rate (53% of those games i carry), and no toxicity, i even got to gold V division in ranked flex after being Silver I last season. After all that and 3 or so months ,i don't even remember anymore ,I'm still honor level 1. I would really like to know if its possible or how long approximately it takes to get to honor level 2 after such events. If someone comments this i thank you in advance.

It'd be nice if when you got a chat ban like I did, Riot let you know that yes, they did indeed also punish the feeding, trolling buttmonkey that caused you to tilt and swear up a blue streak in chat. I'm fine in chat most of the time, until some AFKing dink ruins my promos, or some moron Pantheon gets stomped top, wanders mid without asking if he can switch, then proceeds to feed there too and ends the game with no kills, few assists and yet I'm the asshole for telling him to not suck.
I'm fine with being the asshole but the chat bans aren't addressing the real problem. Bronze 5 is a seething cesspool of feeders, trolls and AFK griefers who continually destroy games of people who are just honestly trying to rank. The problem isn't some bad words being dished out to people who deserve it, the problem is the people who deserve can and do continually ruin 40-60 minutes of people's game time night and night, month after month, year after year and it never seems to end.
I have the same problem. I've gotten tons of honors since, and I've seen no improvement. Setting me to Honor Level 1 is one thing, but LOCKING it for a ridiculously long time is absolutely retarded.
Yea I got banned for cussing in bots (Didn't think you could be banned and plus only 1 person reported me cause i was in 4 man) been in honor lvl 1 for a while now, I usually play with friends so i get 2 of them to honor me every game to help me out but still have only made it to checkpoint 1, go so many chests (25 now i think)
i got level 1 honor bcs i was 2/11 with karthus i was no flaming only bad kda and i was no trolling now im very angry riot how the fuck i get this.[darius-angry] 
So, some comments can slow your progression without outright stopping it or costing you progress. "Shut up" and "Fuck off" aren't going to get you a chat restriction but they will slow your progression. Took me forever to figure this out. It is kinda fucked up that they don't actually explain this to you. It took me dragging the chat menu off the screen entirely for me to climb back out of zero.
The bot is made to scam u outta blue essence so u cant afford in game champs unless u pay real money. Riot wont fix this cause it ll cost em money from people who are addicted to the game play.
I was banned back in the beginning of August and was just able to rank up my honor today, so I'd say the time frame is a little over 4 months, in my case at least.
Well if you were only playing for the rewards, yeah, I'd stop playing.
I got a chat restriction from a single aram game(i thought no one would care about aram :D) and my honor was set to lvl 1. That was long time ago and i still havent progressed in terms of honor lvl even tho i play a lot and get honored so i guess it will stay that way until the new season comes.That would be reaaaaaaally sad:(
Yeah..Same problem i got 10 chat restrictions and after a moth still honor 1 i get key frags and 3 honor sometimes but still honor 1.
