Do we even get the chance to reform ?

Hello fellow summoners.

After 10 years of playing on this game(starting with the 2009 beta with a single account that i hold till today ) and being completely true to the summoners code for like 90 % of the time , I have come to question the chance we have to reform after receiving punishment for flaming.Generally , i never used to flame for the first 7-8 years of playing , but I have to admit that the last 2 years I have flamed my teammates for a decent amount of games , while not swearing excessively though . This led to approximately 3-4 chat bans in this last year that were completely justified and I respect that riot wants to punish such behaviour. On the other hand , after reforming and stopping flaming , my honor remained locked for about 8 motnhs , and i never got to level 2 honor again. On top of that , just 1-2 games of slight flame led to another chat ban and another and another. Ultimately , today we had a rough game and my teammates started blaming the jungle (me) and flaming , while i talked rationally and a bit ironically but not in any means abusively. What's the outcome of this conversation you may ask yourselves. Well , after the game finished , i got a message telling me my account was suspended for 14 days . I was really frustrated and sent a ticket to the riot support group , as this totally unjustified 14 day suspension hit my 10 year account which was mostly an honourable one , and for a totally unjustified reason. Below I paste the chat log my account was SUSPENDED for , so you can judge for yourselves.(This is the only chat log the client gave me as a justification). So after this , I want to ask you and the riot staff , do we even get a chance to reform after penalties ? Never getting back to honor level 2 and even getting automatically suspended for 14 days after a couple of reports drop on the account for a SINGLE game , and with those reports being unjustified by players ABUSING the report option ?

Theres a reason permaban isnt the only punishment. The two week ban and the chat restrictions are your reform chances. It's up to you if you actually bother with reforming.

If your honor level isn't rising or your punishment level isn't decreasing, that means that you're not performing positively enough to make a change. It takes consistent positive action to receive honor, acting less toxic than you normally do doesn't change anything.

As you rise through the punishment ladder, it takes less and less toxicity to trigger the next punishment. Even with that being said, a game like this (quoted below) where you're openly giving up on the game from the moment it begins, admitting to not trying your hardest, and ragging on teammates for underperforming isn't acceptable and will trigger a punishment at any level of the ladder.

Yes. I've done it and so have tons of other people. It takes actual reformation and from this chat log it seems like you haven't gotten to that point yet.

If your honor was locked for eight months, that indicates that you demonstrated zero reform during those months.

You've been getting steady punishments for what, two years now? That was your period of time to reform.

I'll let you know that there is absolutely a chance to reform. But for that to happen, you'll have to learn why you are punished.

I've read through all your responses, * if you are willing to ** not** be in denial and accept the punishment,* then read through my posts and you can learn how to fully reform.

Firstly, let's have you understand the behavioral system a bit more. Think of it like a health bar (or tension meter) in music games. When you hit the note at an off beat, your tension meter increases. When you completely miss a note, the meter increases by alot. When you hit the note at good timings, it reduces the meter.

Riot's behavior system works the same way, as in we all have a toxicity meter attached to our accounts. When players are mildly toxic, it goes up a tad. When people use hate speech, it pretty much fills up the meter. of course, clean games reduce the meter.

This game shown in your reform card demonstrates pretty mild toxicity. But if you get dinged for 1%toxicity every game, you will get punished after 100 games.

Keep in mind the reform card shows you 1-5 recent games as examples of unacceptable behavior, doesn't mean you were punished for 1 game alone.

If you write to https://support.riotgames.com , you can ask them how many games you were validly reported (or have similar behavior) within the past 3 months. The answer would suprise you.

Your first step is to clear the doubt on whether this is a valid punishment. Ask Riot support questions to better understand your punishment. Ask for your behavioral history.

When you've done that, you can come back and ask us on how to improve.

We're willing to help you, but you have to be willing to allow us to help you, and when your foundation is totally against what others are telling you, you won't listen to anything we say.

I give up on this conversation. Not because I can't oppose to your claims , but because I think that our mindsets are far away different and will not reach a common road. Thank you for the time you invested in helping me , each and every one in their own way. If you all think I deserve that kind of punishment well then so be it . Have a good evening boys and girls.

I would like to add that , I know my messages may seem a bit offensive and tilting , but trust me , my teammates messages were worse , and besides the irony I didn't even use a ''red flag'' word . I think this 14 day suspension is totally unjustified .
