Hi all.

I've posted a couple times now about the new Honour system and my problems with it, and now I have a problem that is insurmountable.

I tried contacting Support to have it addressed, but it appears that this is not a valid option.

So.

I'm now looking for a way to reliably get reported down to Honour Level Two, without ruining peoples' games en masse.

It seems this is the only way to stop getting honour badges on my loading screens.

Does anybody have any suggestions, or alternatives? I would heavily prefer not to resort to this extreme method, but it seems my choices are literally this or "stop playing".

I sincerely hope I am mistaken on that front.

or am I to understand that you would have to "stop playing" because your honor level is too high?

Not ideal, for two reasons:

I'd run the risk of actually polluting non-bot games, if any non-bots were in the AI matches.

I'd be punished with a lack of key frags for no reason other than "Riot didn't consider people who don't want attention when designing the honour system"

However, if no better solution exists, I'll grab a friend from my timezone and spend a couple of days doing this.

(Can you get banned like this for slurs said in whispers?)

I have a problem in that it puts a badge on my loading screen slice without my consent or input. I don't want it there, I don't want the attention.

Will a chat restriction work? Or does it have to be a suspension?

Chat restriction should be pretty easy. Spam some thing mildly offensive. Spam should get the systems attention quickly.

Get over it? Or more seriously, I guess, go to the feedback forum and suggest an opt-out to displaying things on your loading screen.

does afk lower honor? if so. whenever you get honored. just force a remake in the next game. you won't hurt anyone, however you will get slapped with LPQ eventually

Updating the situation, in case anybody else shares this issue:

I submitted a ticket, and Riot proved themselves willing to give me (and then immediately remove) chat restrictions, to lower my Honour rating.

This means that I'm temporarily locked out of Hextech, but it's still a better solution than anything else.
