Not playing your assigned position

It baffles me entirely, but there's quite a hefty number of people who seemed not to understand this. So here it is, spelled out for you:

#[In Draft pick modes] Deciding that you aren't going to play the position you were assigned-- or worse, queuing specifically for a position you know you aren't going to play-- is griefing.

There are two and only two instances where it's still compliant with the rules to do so:

  1. You have a 5-stack that's okay with whatever you're doing. (and in that case you can actually queue with multiples of the same position)
  2. You asked someone to trade roles and they accepted.

In any other scenario, don't be surprised if you're punished for it. Even if you constantly have a 4-stack and the solo randoms report you. That could add up to enough.

There's probably more leeway in Blind pick. But in draft modes, you have no excuse.

If you wanna discuss whether or not it's fair, or discuss changes to the rules, make a different thread. This is just to get the word out so people don't flood Riot Support with, "but I wasn't inting," emails out of ignorance.

It should go without saying, but using the fact that you have a stack to try and force someone into letting you do what you want could and should hit you all if enough people go through the trouble to report you all properly.

I would rather wait 2 more minutes than playing something I don't want to for 30 minutes
