You need to make way so that the game bots realize that your whole team is being toxic to you and when you stand up for yourself (being a normal human being with rights) ... BECAUSE this thing is soooo fuing tilting and honestly have been playing league since 2010 but I want to quit at this point fix your sh.
well.. how do you defend yourself? by harassing and insulting them? That's not defending yourself, that's a counter attack.

Just muting them would be defending yourself from those vicious words that are hurting your feelings.
"Oh, they're insulting me and harassing me. I must exercise my rights and defend myself with my keyboard warrior skills in a video game! My weapon of choice is ... insulting and harassing them back! HA! That will show them!"
And that is how a toxic player defends himself.
I swear, Riot GAVE US a MUTE BUTTON. Something that people have been Requesting for YEARS and I swear it's like people don't want to use the thing.

I have a serious question:
WHY is it so hard to NOT be toxic back? WHY is it so challenging to AVOID retaliation? WHY is it so difficult to 'defend' yourself by MUTING and REPORTING?
Is it just a combination of pride, ego, and human nature?
If so, Kudos to Riot for striving to have humans rise above their base nature.
Retaliation is not ok. That is probably why (if you did get punished) you got what punishment you did. Mute and report button is your best friend.
