Thoughts on the Report / AFK banning system

I managed to get from Bronze 3 to Silver 1 and dropped down to Silver 4, my thoughts right now: Why can't I report people for bad behaviour in Champselect, and why is the Remake punishment often so much worse than a usual AFK punishment? It should be the other way around since remakes are often due to PC breakdowns. Also i gotta add that it utterly frustrates me that you loose the same amount of LP with an AFK/DC player like in any other game aswell. That's just my overall experience with the game in the past 2 weeks, and it really frustrates, i mean, being bad sometimes sure makes you loose LP, but i dropped very hard and had a very frequent meetup with people who really harassed teammates/ragequitted/trolled or actually fed intentionally. I feel like the punishment on that is way too low, and people who do good in reporting those players get not rewarded for the good behaviour at all.

Some nice discussion on that and the balance overall would be pretty nice, since there rarely is anyone to talk to around my place.

I agree. AFK punishment is too lax, every single day that I play ranked, I get stuck in at least one 4v5, and it is downright maddening that I can't do anything about it. Imo there needs to be harsher punishments for AFK in ranked, because clearly it's not enough when about 1/5 games there's an AFK. Imo they should be blocked from playing ranked for a day if they have an AFK game, and ramp up from there if they have x amount of AFK ranked games in x time frame, so if 2 in a week, make it 3 days, or something. I realize that sometimes it's a computer or internet connection issue, but frankly, others shouldn't have to suffer when someone knowingly plays on a spotty IC or PC. I think another possibility here, is that losing in a 4v5 should result in a significantly lower LP loss, like half or something, but the offending AFK player should lose double. I think this in and of itself, without the bans even, would solve a LOT, and it would prevent people from trying to abuse the system. In any case, there HAS to be more that can be done about this problem. I am sick of trying to climb rank, only to lose at least one game a day because of some AFK POS. Idk if it's better in higher leagues, but in bronze its literally probably about 1/5 of the games, making it next to impossible to climb out of this hellhole.
