Can we kill this old meme already?

Here's the post-match discussion I've had in my most recent game. I played Yasuo and to be frank it wasn't my best game. Still I enjoy playing Yasuo when I can. Now I normally play marksmen bot lane and don't really branch out of anything that isn't ranged in bot lane. But I've explored some areas and had far and few successes.

Now I always try my best to keep the game fun for all. Not just for me but the other players in the community. New players and veterans alike deserve to play League where all players display some standard of sportsmanship.

That's not to say I'm against witty trash talk. I love me some good bamboozlement! It's what's part of the fun! It can be healthy too.

HOWEVER. It wasn't until this match that I feel like this meme has ran it's course. You sit here and think, just like this fella I had in my post-game lobby, "But you're an M7 inting Yasuo Main! NANI!? You don't have feelings!? You're just a troll! Get out of my games and quit holding me hostage!"

You see, regardless of it being a meme, stuff like this is pretty toxic. For some players it's not funny. I don't find it funny and it's not because you think I'm thin skinned. I can be quite the savage if I have to be. But I seriously cannot tolerate how that 'anyone that plays Yasuo' is considered some kind of brain dead monkey. Or some kind of sub species human. Just anything subordinate and unacceptable. Because what? This player plays Yasuo?

Here's a more or less edited log of the chat and I just hate that this is how 'we have to treat Yasuo players' because it's a funny meme. Do it for the meme guys! Memes are funny! They don't hurt anyone! It's just a meme.
