Feedback on Reports

So I'm not sure if I have thin skin or what, but I find myself reporting people quite a bit for a lot of things including the simple ggez at the end of the game, more severe things like spawn camping, and stuff in the middle like general BM towards other players (friend or foe). I remember seeing some discussion that said that if you report more then your reports have less weight, and it honestly feels like my reports are make no difference at all.

I know others have said that on occasion they have received feedback when someone was punished based on reports, but I have never seen anything like that. I just wanted to share that because I feel like reports do nothing and after games where things go particularly badly, I just feel so frustrated sometimes.

Is it that none have my reports have been acted on or is the feedback system on reports not giving feedback to everyone who has reported a person? If nothing is happening I may as well not waste my time after the game.

Reports only work if people type a lot or really bad things I'm assuming though I'm not sure cause people still swear and say horrible things and Ive never seen one get banned only the ones who type in excess do I get the notification ever.

Riot certainly punished the toxic, you just don't see it in effect cos the visibility on the system is poor. I.E you only see the punishment notification if the game you reported someone in is the same game that got them punished, and not when it is building towards the case.

Toxicity is actually is at its all-time low, but the visibility on the system is also on its all time low. Which means people feel like that the system isn't working.

The good thing is that Riot acknowledges that the visibility is lacking and working on a fix. The downside is that we won't see it until after the new client is up and running smoothly.

You only get the pop-up message if it was your report alone that triggered a punishment on the person in question. When you don't get that message it doesn't mean that they weren't punished, but rather that it simply just wasn't your report alone that got them punished.
