So i've been trying to climb pretty hard for the last couple weeks. I'm now at G1 and have been in promos 2 times for plat. I keep running into smurfs at least 1 in every single game if not more. Pretty bullshit how Riot just allows these players to ruin the game for others because they don't want to ruin their own MMR. Guess what happens to me, a normal league player with 1 account, when I lose a game. My MMR and my points drop. When a smurf loses a game, they don't give a single shit. Half of them are trolls and INT, the other half are diamonds and just shit on your entire team. Getting really sick of not being able to rank up because of this hugely consistent problem.

Sorry but gold players aren't actually good enough at the game to differentiate between someone smurfing and just having a good game.

Oh, and before someone says "Just get good" I was G4 2 weeks ago. Have been consistently climbing up to this point. Still have a positive WR, the reason I can't climb is because of this problem. There are an insane amount of smurfs in this G1-P4 border and it's getting really tilting that no one is getting banned over this. Making the game way less competitive and you might as well just keep making accounts to shit on people in lower brackets.

smurfing is a part of nearly every competitive game, it's something you have to accept. It's not something that can be addressed. you will get smurfs on your team that lead you to win and smurfs on the enemy that lead you to losing. It all balances out in the end. The best thing you can do is just play the game and have fun some people can learn from smurfs and improve others just ignore them and play the games out and have as much fun as they can. They are smart people.
