KDA isn't everything.
Also, being 9/8 means you gave someone a lot of kills. Given how the roles would be distributed, it was either Diana or Kindred, both of which would exert a lot more map pressure than a Yasuo. Even if you came out ahead in KDA, someone else got more kills on a champion that could snowball other lanes, ultimately resulting in the entire enemy team more fed.
