Today I received a 14-day suspension over 2 games.

The first of which I played in a normal today where my own teammate banned the champion I had selected to play in the lobby. Upon bringing this to his attention he was unapologetic and told me not to make him "start some sh**. Since this was essentially a waste of my time I announced that while I wasn't going to feed, AFK, or dodge, I was refusing to assist him mid. Aside from that I farmed, split pushed, and got kills where I saw fit all the while received verbal harassment from him and his premade Riven who called me the "N word" on at least 2 occasions that game for which I reported him. I was made fun of for being silver, called retarded by this person, and in the last teamfight he sat in fountain to make a point that I would carry since I refused to help him. I wish these chat logs showed the entire conversation so I wouldn't be painted as the only offender here, but I do not feel I was toxic, did not curse at this person, and played the game to win, how is this worthy of a 2-week suspension?

The second game goes a little further back. I don't remember it as clearly but I was learning Janna in a normals game had a Jinx that was relatively new to ADC, which wasn't a problem. But I believe the game was extremely one-sided and we might have had a DC or AFK, I can't quite remember, and surrender votes failed for whatever reason so I simply urged the enemy team to baron and end the game since they had the power to do so. I was displeased with my teammates but again I do not understand how my chat is 14-day suspension worthy. These games can drag on for 40 minutes or more, why is it reportable to be unhappy wasting this much time when the game is over in the first 15-20 minutes when you have teammates that want to prove something to themselves.

I'll admit the second game I was little less sporting than the first, but seriously is this all it takes to be suspended these days? Watch Trick2G or Imaqtpie, I guarantee they're much more influential than myself in this game and their language is terrible compared to what I've posted here. Granted I've been reported for toxicity before, but it feels like I can go weeks and months behaving only to be shut down hard for hurting somebody's e-feelings.

I would at least like to know that the Syndra and Riven in the first game were reported and punished as swiftly as I have been, for they were much worse offenders than myself, if only I had the full chat logs to prove that one.

Please respond with a little bit of an explanation for why this punishment is so severe for what I consider to be a very minor crime. Alternatively, take a page from Dota 2 and instate a low priority queue for rude and toxic players, since that's what it feels like I get stuck with anyway.

PS - I Included the offending games in my op.gg link. The offending games are the recent 43 minute loss with 7/5/5 Warwick 4 hours ago and the 32 minute loss with 1/8/16 Janna 3 days ago. These are included to show that I was not playing something off-meta, trolly, or not attempting to contribute to my team.

The log isn't in context of is this punishable by a 14 day ban. The question is, are these logs actionable, the answer is yes. Once that is answered the punishment is based on where you are on the tier list. So, no, the logs aren't worth a straight to 14 day ban, but yes, they are worth a punishment (which happens to be at least your third thus 14 days).

Ad for the others, if they were toxic, especially with racial slurs, mute, report and let them enjoyn their bans.

The best thing to do honestly is to just mute everybody. The smallest thing even a slight disagreement with a teammate can trigger a report. If you don't wanna mute your chat, just reply to flamers with ":)" or "ok" and they'll either stop or bury themselves deeper, fattening your case when you report them. The reporting system needs an overhaul, no doubt.

Same story here pretty much... i was honor 5 and after one games mild rage at my adc and mid for flaminf I got my first ever punishment : A 14 day ban with no warnings whatsoever and also riot won't answer my ticket.

The part that I am furious about is that I am loaing the end of season rewards I worked so hard for... I climbed from Bronze 4 to Gold 5 twice just to get insta-cucked by Riots questionable auto-report system

For the record, neither of the other players that I reported this game received bans. Both have been active in the time I have been banned. TheEar and KillingPoint.
