Why does client match me with people that I just reported?

I was playing an ARAM and this 3-man premade with a penis for a club tag "8IID" (idk how that made it thru filters) and they were trolling, 1 was partially AFK or just in a brush nearly the entire time. And because they were a 3-man premade, they gang up and bully the other teammates in chat (in & out of game). I reported them and then I get on the same ARAM team as them AGAIN! Like, why does Riot (or the system) think I want to play with people that I'm reporting for inappropriate behavior? It's not like ARAM in needy of people, the queues are short. Why couldn't I be on the team without the 3-man premade? There's not a shortage of ARAM players, ever, so why match me with them?

Do you mean the client intentionaly matched you with people you reported? Because that is simply not true and it only happened because you que at the same time as the people you reported.

Or are you implying that the client shouldn't match you with people you reported? Because that can easily be abused, people will report bad players and dramatically increase que timers.

Because the system doesn't account for people reported. Sometimes you just need to wait 5 minutes before requeuing. It just looks for people to fill the queue, longer in gets more priority. So if you and the people join approximately same time and a team of 3 hasn't found a duo or 2 singles, then you are going to be back together.

Look at the bright side, you have the opportunity to report them in multiple games if they are toxic in multiple games, to ensure that they face the consequences of their actions that much faster.

Because League of Legends is losing players to Fortnite, so the matchmaking have to pick whatever is available.

I had this happen a few days ago. I'd played with a toxic 4 man and then played with them again one game after. It was hell, I reported them both times because they harassed me the second game(early game anyways until I ended up carrying) after playing with me the first one.
