Does Riot really care about toxic players?

So basically I encounter many toxic players. they talked crap and acted like they are real challenger player even though they are silver are even worse. They call people by name, call them trash, idiot, r%%%%%ed, etc. I did report them eventually but they did not get banned or any penalty. so does Riot really care about? Plus, sometimes we lose a ranked game just because of 1 single troll-er, if they do get banned, should we get the lost point back? it's not fair to lose points because of someone who is literally trolling.

Just because you don't recieve a punishment notification, doesn't mean they didn't get punished.

The notification system is weak like that, and we wished there was more transparency to it.

nothing like that will ever be done, you meet someone toxic just report them and move and on.. you are more likely to get banned then they are if you talk back to them it's unfortunate thats how the game goes, but it is

I feel the same way. Actually, if you attempt to reason with them and defend yourself, you're the one who gets banned. Just stop talking to everyone and be inhuman. That's the message Riot is sending, as well as the people who are admin's on this board. Avoid chatting, mute everyone, and just play ranked all the time. That's the only advice I have for you. I've lost the will to care anymore about being human in this game. The system is unfair and unbalanced, but what else can you do.

That's quite an ambiguous question. The answer you want is that yes, they care. If you look on the forums here you'll see plenty of players' logs and punishments listed here. They care about punishing players and removing them from the community when their behavior has been overly problematic. They also care about reforming players, which is why toxic players have (for the most part) opportunities to reform prior to being permanently banned.

I would argue yes they care. Toxic players cost them money. Its their whole purpose to care about their bottom line. Otherwise they would be a not for profit organization lol.

No they don't. Not at all. Take my last game for example

This guy with 111 games played was telling other people that they're "hard stuck" He intentionally griefed the game by ulting jungle camps as the support He picked support Nunu, and claimed to have a 20% win rate as support And I directly quote him "I have 3 other accounts that will all be plat by the end of the week"

Riot does not, they use a word check program to see if any profanity is used but they don't actually care. There is a profanity filter for this very purpose but instead the system bans players for free speech.

I got a 14 day auto ban for calling someone stupid after they fed 10 kills in the turret early and swore nonstop at me all game. then perma banned for calling someone bad and ignorant after calling me a "stupid effing c00ck sucker" not a single ban notification for people sitting In fountain spamming swear words. but a perma ban notification for myself after calling someone bad (no swearing) when they flamed me ALL game with swear words. joke company
