I felt pretty bad after this so... CONFESSION TIME

I just had probably the game where I've displayed the worst attitude ever since I play the game (Sept. 2012) and while it may not make any difference, I still just wanna put it out. If anything, just so that others don't react like this.

So after having a bad Kennen game, I just went off and picked Trist for a game. My companion for lane was Shen Support. We got matched up against a Jhin with Arcane Comet and a Karma. Needless to say, as soon as I saw the champions, I knew lane was gonna be really hard... I mean, pretty much impossible. Poke Meta in Bot lane is pretty crazy right now, and with no sustain, I knew they wouldn't even have to kill us to get our tower. So I said so. It wasn't even minute one and I called out how even if we didn't die, bot was lost. Why would I do that? I don't know.

So then laning phase begins, and the Karma/Jhin combo was in fact really oppressive. Me and Shen didn't die a single time in lane, but sooner than later, they poked us out of the lane and took the tower. I was really low on CS by then, and after reminding the team how my prediction was right, I attempted to farm. I was at half HP under my secondary tower when Kata came and literally walked pass me and killed me. It was at this time that I called the game lost and attempted to surrender. Team refused, and all I did was say it was fine, that we'd waste our time together.

At this point, I was nowhere near any of my bigger items. I needed resources to fight, so I attempted to farm any lane I could. My team then got upset, as I wasn't there for fights. I replied saying I just wasn't strong to fight Jhin in a teamfight, and that we shouldn't be looking to fight at all. Team wouldn't have it, and of course accused me of intentionally feeding and AFK farming. My team getting into flame mode is a different topic, as it does not eliminate the way I behaved earlier. I basically gave up just from seeing their comp. If I was gonna do that, I would have been better leaving the game at the start so we'd have a remake.

Keep calm guys, always. Malph, Shen, Poppy, Ori: I'm sorry (though I don't think you'll read this)

Don't feel bad, nobody is perfect, you realized what you did wrong and in the end that's what's important !

Keep it up [slayer-jinx-catface]

Hey, Triistana, as Sirthael told you at least you realized what you did wrong. I would like to take this chance and tell you something else: you have learned something important and now you might be able to "do better" in general by sharing what you learned. Noticing you are playing online with actual people (and this means people who feel, hurt, think, smile, cry, breath... "the same" as you do) is, in my opinion, the most basic aspect of any online game. I dont care if we are talking about league, csgo, COD, pubg... whatever. Respect is key. So it is SELF-respect and when a given one starts to flame and troll... well, I think they are telling more about themselves than about the targets of their flame.

Lets put it this way: in a game where matches last around 20 mins average (lets say 25-30) you can make feel someone like useless garbage, and besides the possibilities of this hunting that somone down in real life (which is quite unlikely anyway), you have to face the fact that you are making someone feel bad because something that you knew (or at least should have known) could happen. When you play a game where draws (ties, idk) are not a thing you have to accept that the chances of winning are 50%, exactly the same as losing. When someone is trying and fails you have, imo, no right at all to blame him/her for that. When someone is trolling and is making you lose on purpose... whats the point in arguing.

I dont know, I main support and maybe (just maybe) we support mains developed (or already had) a different mindset towards this game. Whatever the reason is about these behaviour issues I would like to make everyone analyze the logic in being toxic. It turns out to be 0. Think about it... For sure we could talk here and spend some time figuring out why even Riot's staff suggest you to mute "toxic players" but what's the point of muting people in an online game in which you are supposed to communicate with people. And lets not fall into the "alerts and pings are more than enough" because, first of all they are not, second the alerts can be used to troll aswell... so we are not facing a problem here in order to solve it but avoiding it, telling people to just "deal with it" and while that statement (dwi) might be true it gives no solution at all. Maybe I should elaborate a new thread about this topic...

Anyway I would like to cheer you up because you made something relevant. Not only for this damn game but for yourself in the sense that you are better equipped now to understand yourself better and also others.

Well Done, Triis. :)

PS: Just think about all the pro and relevant players in the scene (and inside this community) who have been banned at least once. Pro and relevant players who are presented by riot itself as an inspiration... well, it is disgusting. And because of how messed all this community is I am truly celebrating your post.

EDIT 1: Not native English. Sorry for grammar, typos, spelling mistakes. Whatever.
