14 day ban, no warning, for this? This can't be right.

I was referring to a Twisted Fate on the enemy team that was intentionally feeding. His team was the one that brought it to our attention and he didn't hide it at all. "Running it down mid" as they say. At the end of the match he started to say things like "I'm not inting" "you can't prove I'm inting I'm trying my best". I got a 14-day suspension for this. Not a 10 game chat ban, not a warning, my account is banned for 2 weeks because of this. I didn't have any warnings before this, had a decent honor level (can't recall the number) and I went out of my way to not only not be toxic, but to not speak whatsoever unless it was absolutely necessary to communicate with my team. This is the only chat log they listed. I understand I wasn't being nice to him. I get it if someone is being toxic leave it alone. But a 14-day suspension for this? I am honestly in disbelief.

Update: Sent a ticket. My case was reviewed and the ban was lifted. Thank you to those that actually helped!

Either you are lying to us, you removed parts of this, or it is a case of mistaken identity, mind giving us screenshots instead of just copy paste?

At level 22, you are most likely a smurf account, and those are punished more quickly and severely.

But, a support ticket to ask for conformation about it being a 14 day ban rather than a 10 or 25 game chat restriction could be useful.

If you haven't received any chat restrictions, then reach out to Riot support. If you have had chat restrictions, then this is likely enough to get you 14 day banned, and any further negativity will result in a permaban.

Looking at the screenshots you've posted and assuming your being truthful that you've never been punished before, I actually would reach out to Riot on this one. This miiiight be enough to warrant a chat restriction, but even that's stretching it. I'm thinking it's more likely a mistake and can probably be reversed.

Let's review the banned people.

  1. guy: 5 minute ban for going semi-afk 65 times in a row.
  2. guy: 2 hour ban for int. feed. He died 42 times in a 30 minute game.
  3. guy: Permabanned for writing "report {summoner name}" in chat. Once.

The only way to receive an immediate 14-day ban is by using zero-tolerance language such as racism, homophobia, or inciting self harm.

If these chat logs are unedited and you haven't had any prior punishments, it was most likely made in error. I recommend you file a support ticket and explain the situation if that is the case.

Unlikely your first punishment if its chat related, and threatening someone with reports is a chat offense, so you likely would have received a chat restriction minimum.
