Is that ban really justified?

Those are literally the chat logs for why i got suspended. It is a 14- day suspension.

Context:

I played a game with my friends and just stomped the enemys. One of them started to insult me in post game lobby. The thing is: it was in italian. So i googled it up and told me that i was a %%%%%% (bc of my name obviously) i then said that i know what he was talking about and lost my temper for a moment. (suck my dick and italian fucker) so he then proceeded to say that my mom is dying of cancer and i should kms. I mean, yes i lost my temper for a bit but how am i being banned for 14 days for saying to suck my dick and italian fukcer??

There are people, like my opposing Italian, that say FAAAAR worse things. I dont know but i feel like it is very unjustified. People say "kys" or you mom dies" basically every game and i dint even say something REAL bad.

Would like to know your opinion on this.

Your chat is not great, but it does look like you were saying "I know what that word means, even though you're saying it in Italian". You might want to put in a support ticket and see if you can get a reduction, as the next punishment level after a 14-day is a perma.

That said, putting aside the quote, you should expect a suspension when you insult people the way you did.

Not only did you use/repeat a homophobic slur, you told them to do a crude sexual act and essentially were rude to them for being Italian.

I've seen people have bans removed when they were banned for pointing out someone else's use of a zero-tolerance word.

However, the rest of your chat log still likely justifies a 14-day ban even without that zero-tolerance word, due to the line "italian fucker" and the two lines "so you don't have to talk italian" "or fucking aids" together, which could be considered racist. I wouldn't expect anything to come of the appeal.

Just so you know, there is absolutely NO reason to ever repeat someone's words. This is a false positive on the zero tolerance policy word, HOWEVER, those insults you threw at the other player.... oh my.... I think you will still be punished for those words. You may get a removal of the zero tolerance policy punishment, but you may still have an underlying punishment stay on and you might end up with a 14 day punishment anyway because of the way you talk to people.

The lack of a full chat logs, and only those snippets, is more telling than what was revealed, when you have the ability to copy and paste the whole thing. You know Riot Staff CAN READ YOUR ENTIRE LOG right? You can't fool them.

MisterGay, you should understand that if you truly want to avoid problems with the system of League of Legends, you should always mute everyone except your friends and NO all chat allowed. By doing so, you'll never get in trouble if you just ignore the chat box.

The system of League of legends is trash and none deserve that.
