How does Riot react to different forms of threats?

In my last game I had a Sivir get mad at the Soraka for not being perfect and told her "I want to ****ing kill you." and that made think, how does Riot feel about varying level of threats? Does something like this resort in a playing being punished or does it require more? Obviously when you start saying things like "I will track your IP and come to your house..." it becomes just as much as an issue with the authorities, but how does Riot punish or respond to things like this?
