Riot banning because of chat

Why does Riot think they need to take it into their own hands to ban players for chatting? Why can't they just give a permanent chat restriction? I have spent over $500 on this game, and because a player got butt hurt because I didn't gank their lane, I got banned from it...This game is pathetic, and no wonder this game is dead in NA. They literally run off their player base trying to control everything.

If you got banned for verbal offense, is it possoble you were "butthurt" and snapped at someone?

Riot had what was essentially permanent chat restrictions in the past (they used to stack up). What happened was the people that wanted to be toxic just started doing it through gameplay, which is much harder to identify and detect automatically.

Was this a 14 day or perma? If it was a 14 day ban, then you either already had 1 or 2 chat restrictions telling you your behavior wasn't appropriate, or you skipped chat restrictions because you used a zero tolerance word or phrase, such as hate speech.

If this was a perma, than you already had a 14 day ban recently meaning you were on some very thin ice and any valid report was going to result in a perma ban, which would've been explained in your reform card.

Also, how much money you spent doesn't mean anything. It's a free game, you don't need to spend any money at all, heck you can even get skins for free now through hextech crafting. Spending money doesn't put you on some list to not be punished. So how much you spent means nothing.

Gonna need some logs. Curious to know just how bad it was for it to skip straight to a ban. Typically, it makes it crystal clear.

if anything they are too lenient lol, they just got banned sanctioned in china for hosting an "inharmonious chatroom"

also they had infinitely scaling chat restrictions, but when people couldn't flame they just soft inted.
