Chat Ban--Cry Babies At Their Best

The most "toxic" players in the history of PvP gaming are the players who intentionally turn off a chat filter and then proceed to "report" players who offend them; usually after they themselves are the ones who troll and piss everyone else off.

The most "toxic" company in the history of internet gaming is the company that enforces chat banning after they provide a very effective in-game chat filter, and is the company who pays millions to "professional" players who troll, curse, and talk trash daily but ban average players for lesser behavior. They then respond to your inquiry by providing you with ONLY your chat log and zero context or supporting text.

Good riddance. Already told Riot to delete my account. Enjoy the North Korea atmosphere. Complete joke of a company.

Deuces.

Not offend. Annoy. Annoy is the key verb.

SO you're leaving the game?

You're costing Riot more money by creating a negative experience to multiple players who when combined buy more than you do. The community doesn't want you here and neither does the company. You're right; you're much better off leaving.

A chat filter is no excuse for your to harass people. Nor is a mute command. You are only responsible for your own actions and that is why you only receive your logs.

I would go on with advice on how to help prevent this in the future, but since you are quitting it doesn't seem like it will be helping anyone. Good luck harassing people wherever else you decide to go.

Meh. I feel like i do a service to other members of the community by making sure to report toxic players.

While toxic behavior doesn't affect me on a personal level I do know that the behavior could have a extreme impact on others and i should do my best to limit that.

This isn't true; Riven mains, Autolockers, and Inters are the most toxic

What these players don't understand is that retaliating back by being jerks themselves isn't gonna magically make the situation better: quite the opposite in fact.

  1. Pros are not immune to the rules, and in fact many have been punished-even banned-for consistently acting up: http://lol.esportspedia.com/wiki/List_of_Competitive_Rulings
  2. Context doesn't matter since you were the one who chose to respond in a way that you knew was wrong. Only your chat log is shown because

A. Only your behavior is being judged. AND B. Your behavior caused your punishment.

Could they give players more info as to how to reform? Yes. Would it still be up to the players to use that information wisely? Yes.

Good luck finding a game that will let you behave however you want with no consequences. Spoiler alert: there aren't that many.
