I Got Perma Banned

Hey riot, RIOT I just received a perma ban on my account, sure I was mildly toxic, but half the times I'm only flaming my friends I know in real life... it is unfortunate because I just spent 20 dollars on rp 20 minutes before the ban... feels bad man... I don't int, I don't do any other toxic stuff deserving of a perma ban, maybe a severe chat ban... but not perma ban... Help me out boys been supporting the company for years, this must be an error... Here are my chat logs... could be a lot worse... Ready to be T1 Reformed

This is actually a fairly toxic chat log, so I don't think you will get much traction trying to get this ban reversed.

Your match history is public. Getting the friends you frequently duo with to come upvote you, downvote others, and offer up their opinions on your ban like they’re objective third parties is pretty weak.

Mild? This is simply just toxic. There's nothing mild about this. As for your ban, you were banned because you were consistently toxic to where you used up all your penalty tiers. You just got off from a 14-day ban. Which was your last chance to reform. Instead, you ignored the warning and kept going down that path of officially losing the account Riot permitted you to borrow.

Chat toxicity is just as severe as ingame toxicity. They're treated evenly for they are frowned upon evenly.

This post seems to have gone way out to left field. Let's get back on track.

CapNPopNFresh is asking for help about the perma ban. I am going to give my best take on it.

The crime is toxicity. The creators of the game do not like it. Half the community does not like it. I do not like it.

He admitted that his chat was toxic. We good there.

Should he get account banned? Definitely. Chat bans were a warning. He chose to ignore them. Treat him like an adult and make him accept the consequences of his actions.

But perma banning CapNPop? Hell no. This is not the way to go about this. Instead of giving up on him, force him to be better.

I personally believe anyone with intelligence can reform. Some people need that final slap on the wrist to really wake up.

Here is the easiest solution :

Ban his account for 30 days. If he does not reform, ban it for 60 days. Then 90 days. Keep adding 30 days until he learns.

Its amazing what time off can do for someone's clarity and attitude.
