Toxicity almost looks like a form mental illness and I feel worried now that I notice.

I am really getting worried for the mental state of a few players here on league of legends. The people who dehumanize other players that don't play like perfect robots. The people who few money as an excuse to avoid punishment. The people who view others who think outside the box (meta) and are told they are on the verge of ruining everything. The people who view reporting as just a means to remove the people they hate and not the people who committed a wrong. The people who chose to fight with their own team over enjoying the game. The people who view constructive criticism as an insult. The people who refer to their ranking/kda/past games and past scores as a form of "might makes right". And many many more.

These forms of logic reflect a mental state that is not evil but sick and in need of REAL help. This sort of thinking isn't normal and is self damaging to the point of making me (a somewhat cynical ass hole) worry for. I am not joking here, I legit worry for people that have this sort of mind set.

Now to explain the purpose of my post I ask not for ideas to remove or punish these offenders but tips as to help them move away from this way of toxic thinking.

Anonymity does funny things to a person.

Those are children and immature "young adults", they would NEVER intentionally talk to someone like that in person...But we can only hope that one day they will forget the monitor isn't shielding them and one day they will.

Any "real" player, at any level, knows KDA doesn't win games and arguing/raging/blaming doesn't help gameplay. ;)

...And ofc the trolls know that, they just don't care. Their "fun" is to ruin others' games - and it appears they are winning that battle...

League does that to a few people.

It isn't even remotely surprising if you are a believer in the philosophy that people are inherently selfish creatures who only behave when strong social controls are imposed on them.
