Why do we all have to get punished for 1 players actions in ranked?

There has been an ongoing problem in my ranked experience with dodgers, afk, and people who jsut dont care about other peoples ranked games. I and the majority of the league community like to try and advance in Ranked. I feel that there should be smaller lp losses to the other people on teams with afks or no lp loss because it is near impossible to win a 4v5 at most points in the game. This really discourages people in ranked and makes them almost hate their experience. Especially in the lower elo's players become tilted very easily or just flat out give up near the begging of games and that ruins the fun for everyone else. Hope you guys feel the same way and hopefully we can get this issue fixed.

If only people could vent their frustrations without being punished. I wonder what would happen if people were actually allowed to tell other people they suck when they're 1-12 in the first 10 minutes? I have a feeling they would afk less and actually continue trying to play. Instead since you can't say anything without the 1-12 player reporting you because you hurt their feelings going afk is the only option.

The issue you run into is that you would have 9 people gaining/neutral on LP in a game and 1 person losing LP.

This leads to artificial gains in LP which would mean that everyone would be climbing like crazy, considering for all but the highest rank it's based on a system where you go up in rank when you reach a certain number of LP, and not based on total LP.
